I certainly never spend time as a human on any of my worgen characters.
I have two forms macroād to mounts. Mainly because worgen look goofy AF in most mount scenarios.
Remember! Compromise! 
And yet, with little hope of Blizzardās empathy for worgen and the alliance as a whole, we must continue to suggest cosmetic improvements for our favorite races. Whatever they are.
Mainly because we have not heard a word from Blizzard saying that it has no interest or desire to do something suggested and because now there are ways to do something like this.
Give Worgens tails!

It looks cool I suppose. One thing Iād be worried about is how it will absolutely clip through everything and will never get fixed, even if they ever decided to implement it.

Thatās by Noxychu! Sheās an artist who has been tweeting about worgen tails. Sheās one of the people with devs following her, so theyāre seeing the requests for tails.

My only issue with Worgen getting a tail is that I will try and pet itā¦ and then Iām going to get my face rip in halfā¦

Go look at the HA. Clipping happens. Blizzard dont care and I wouldnt either. Just look at raiding players clip into each other to stand in positions. Honestly clipping is the last reason anyone should care about something optional at all.

Wow! Thatās good news. 
Itās very interesting what a little google search reveals about what exists related to worgen and tails! 
As for the raiders, well thatās for gameplay reasons.
Right now weāre talking about a cosmetic option, so clipping I feel is a very real issue, as its a cosmetic problem.

No one bring it up till Worgen are asking for an optional tail. Then lord have mercy its such am issue we canāt have that or we risk offending the clipping godsā¦ Ya I donāt think it matters as Blizzard has never cared to fix any clipping issues. Look at Karazhan as a great example you could clip under the core building and see Blizzard has a large smiley face under it. It happens. People Just tend to ignore it I know I donāt use shoulders on many of my Worgen looks because we to this day use female Tauren sized shoulder pads and they are far too big/ cause Worgen to clip. 10 years of that crap and you kind of get desensitized to it. If Worgen were the correct 8 foot tall it wouldnāt be as bad.

Iām just giving you my opinion.
I avoid clipping as much as possible. Itās one reason I refuse to play a female human paladin/warrior. Their arms completely clip through their shields on their backs no matter what. Itās ridiculous.
So for me, clipping is a huge deal. May not be for others, as evidenced by your post. Thatās okay.

Sorry if I came off as coming after you. Its just you never see posts about clipping till we start talking about an optional tail and people tend to use it and lore as to excuses as to why Worgen should be limited like no other race in the game. 10 years of this is enough. Let Worgen players be happy to be Worgen. Let us choose custom stuff for the race we choose to pay to play.

I have been complaining about it for years, but gave up since they never got fixed. Human female shield clipping has been a thing since 2006 and it hasnāt gone anywhere.

Maybe I am wrong but I feel like the only real issue is the tail clipping with cloaks? I assume they could make the cloaks stick outward more like they do on Draenei when the tail is enabled.
For stuff like armor and mountsā¦ that seems like a lost cause to me. With Vulpera they did do the tail positioning well when they are mounted so itās possible to do it decently for Worgen.

With any luck, if tails are an optional achieved pro worgens, clipping problems should not be worse than those existing with the tails of vulperas and taurens.
I hope so. 
The old female Worgen animations were a travesty the tearing and clipping showed all of 10 seconds of care was put into Worgen. And I know what you mean on the human female that shield in the face must hurt. Ps. Give us optional tails and 8 foot lore friendly size. Pss. Personal post 500.
