I would definitely not want only women to get the tails. I would like for all worgen to have the option.
Saberon and saurok use male worgen models and have a tail, so it’s clearly doable.

I demand a worgen tail or else!
Plus, the picture on the game they recently released is a male worgen with a tail and both genders have the tail anatomy already in place.

Humans have tailbones, and are sometimes born with tails yes. But humans don’t have snouts, and we grow those when we transform. 
If you mean the artwork of the new board game, don’t that was handled by Blizz at all. Tyrande is on the cover using arcane magic

I’m not certain that is Tyrande, it could just be a night elf mage. But even if it is, Tyrande can do arcane magic. It’s officially licensed by Blizzard.
From the creator’s website: “It was also a new way of working: the World of Warcraft Universe Team at Blizzard tried each of the successive versions. Their ideas and comments helped refining and enriching the game.”
So they were involved in its creation.

Yeah, also the gnome, dwarf, worgen, and human don’t even look like specific Alliance heroes. They’re just randos.

And that is because in people’s unconscious, worgen are similar to werewolves and many people imagine werewolves with tails, as they show to have a much more feral appearance in this way.
They’re trying to hide the truth.

The worgen form itself is a conceived transformation of druids.

I agree, we need Gilneas back. Maybe we get it back in a long questline and do something like we did for the draenor outpost to repair the place and when we complete reconstruction, we earn the right to the city.

humans actually do have tails (internally) and are occasionally born with vestigial tails.

I have to remind you that most of us wanted a longcoat like greymane as a heritage armor, look how things turned out.
Of course every possible options are welcom and so i’m not against having a tail among them but let’s be real:
They will do the minimal work on our character and that’s it.
I really hope to be wrong: Roleplaying a gilnean who completely assume her form and don’t like to revert as a human, having a tail to make her closer to the beast will be a nice addition.

Trust me Yorae I was banned twice for calling Blizzard out on the lore aspects of the quest chain and how bad the armor was just a rip off of a preexisting set just retexutred poorly I might add. Its also one of the only HA sets that tabards dont work with the armor clipping into it and showing up on the wrong sides of the armor. Its a damn shame that Worgen HA is such a joke and this is a chance for Blizzard to make amends to Worgen players without costing us a raiding tier.

I just checked the artbook from Cataclysm and i also see that straight male worgens were also in.
Could be nice to make it a reality too.

Its a cause and effect thing. Worgen have been neglected for years with poor story, terrible model. So people avoided playing the race and in a vicious cycle of neglect because people weren’t playing the race it was ignored… See the pattern? Why would Blizzard bother putting time and effort into a race hardly played. Well Blizzard had you put time and effort into the race in the first place and not neglected them for 10 years maybe just maybe we would have a larger player base. Its just like when Blizzard redid the racials for every single race in the game… Except 1… Wonder what race got utterly and totally ignored for racials? Did you guess Worgen… See the trend? I mean I could go on and on about this and probably get banned again… So Ill stop here for now but I still love my Worgen characters and if I have to be banned to get my voice out there… So be it.
