Give Worgen tails!
There are more people who would like the optional tail and most are Worgen players. Those who dont play Worgen honestly I only count them as half a vote. We are the ones who are playing the race why should someone who isnt even playing our race get to say what we look like?
So Wolfieâs vote doesnât matter? :V
Who are you to say these people donât have worgen toons?
Post on the Worgen toon and not a low level one. Some of us have been playing Worgen for 10 years. We have had to put up with one of the second worst models in WoW history because people wanted Worgen to look more vicious. Instead we got a goofy looking model with a perma snarl when there was less than 2 weeks before Cata went live. That was not vicious and we had to suffer with that abomination of a model for 10 years. So excuse me if I want Worgen players to dictate the fate of the Worgen race rather than people who dont want more furries in the game and lets be honest thats why most of them dont want Worgen to get options.
They just came out with the new worgen customizations on the alpha a few days ago. Doesnât look like they added tails. More fur colors though. And you can customize your human form separate from worgen form.
I mean, I could swap to my worgen character to post on the forums?
Iâve posted on several worgen over my time. Not sure why it even swapped me to my Classic char.
Iâve posted on Keori (Worgen Druid, formally known as Dreampaw)
Harleyrose (Worgen Rogue, formally known as Keori - Char became a druid icly :P)
Nevari/Nevarianna (Night Elf Priest: She is ICly a Nelf Worgen - WHICH BTW RAEDOLF YOU SHOWED SUPPORT FOOOOR ON MUH NELF DOGGO THREAD)
and Reona (Worgen Priest)
Itâs awesome! My guildâs super excited to customize our characters more freely, Iâm especially going to be choosing different beard options but I think Iâm sticking with my fur.
Cuz night elf worgen are canon, itâs an actual thing
unlike tails
If itâll make Nightrun happier, maybe!
They arenât done with worgen customization. Itâs been stated numerous times that the separation of forms is practically nothing for worgen given most people who play this game arenât RPâers.
They have only added a few baseline things which everyone has gotten across the board, not new stuff like what draenei, tauren, night elves, blood elves, etc. have received.
Part of it thought Raedolf is some of us donât change back to our human form. Customization of the human look while nice to be separate is not worth much to the players who stay in Worgen form all the time. Thats why more Worgen customization other than just color swaps would be nice and a tail would be a great optional choice.
PS Ive seen WolfĂŻe post on a Worgen character before. Maybe I shouldnt say it that way but some people who are demanding no options dont even play the race and for 10 years we had to put up with Blizzard bowing to non Worgen players demands. This is a chance for a change for Worgen.
Nelf Worgen are literally my dream race. I am praying so hard they become playable. LIke, you donât even know.
Yup! And thatâs canon, Darius Crowley and Mardigan could not transform and still have not. And we have yet to see Kaldorei worgen transform.
There is an easter egg with the Scythe of Elune for balance druids in ValâSharah. You can go out there with the Scythe, zap a feral worgen which is a neutral npc, and they revert back to their elf forms.
As of right now, havenât seen anything on the vice versa HOWEVER there is that group of elven worgen in Felwood!
Edit: FOUND VIDEO!
Also, I SORELY miss the wolf aesthetic in the Starsurge spell from Legion. I loved that soooo much!
Mine is Moridrina (toon: Lilred) the former sentinel. Weâve got another in the guild, Colesia, and another member leveling a couple toons preparing to make one as well.
Yup! It actually removes the worgen curse from them entirely. The quote text says they no longer feel the rage. The scythe transformed them back into night elves.
Yeah! The Terrowulf/Talonbranch pack, now lead by Denmother Ulricha. It also includes Alton Redding, her champion, who has longer ears than are available to playable worgen. Longer ear options which we are getting in Shadowlands, it appears!
Eh⌠that point could be up for debate. While it does appear to remove the transformation entirely, it could be perceived that they simply regained their humanity? That is all up for interpretation of course cause again, nothing concrete from Blizzard on that one.
All night elf worgen (afaik) werenât infected by bites, it was the rage that came from using the forbidden druid form that got to them.
Fair, given that we never see them again. Worgen -always- feel rage just beneath the skin. Even Alpha Prime who was in complete control could not transform, as well as Denmother Ulricha. To say he no longer feels the rage, that itâs not there, means the curse is no longer there. After all, the Scythe is the origin of the curse, and has been theorized to be a potential cure since Gilneas, though they elves couldnât figure out how until Legion. One way we could test if the elf is still a worgen or not is if itâs attackable, or if it has worgen sound files still on Wowhead.
Either way, we also have cases of satyr and naga using night elf form, as an illusion. My guildies can do that if they want to play it safe, or just say that their elf can transform anyways, to make it more easily playable.
Night elves have become worgen in two ways. One, being cursed by the Scythe of Elune. Or two, being bitten by those originals. The Pack Form never turned anyone into a worgen, it is the Scythe that did that.
Not true! Worgen were spreading their curse with bites during the War of the Satyr as well! It is this reason that if Night Elf Worgen do become playable, this explains that they are more than just druids, like many people believe.
Hereâs an example from the comics:
Btw this comic series is excellent.
Though that could mean he didnât feel it at that very moment given he was just zapped. I kind of wish Blizzard did something more with those feral worgen like having them go to the Dreamgrove where you could talk to them and them give you a bit of flavor text to add more lore to players who donât know elves are the OG worgen. I always said this was a huge missed opp from Blizz.
