Something like Alleria’s would be nice.

This! A lot of Belf players are gatekeeping velves. But Velf players actually ask for stuff THEY want for their race.
Then Belf players wonder why are Velfs winning?
Because the positive always wins! because this is a business adn blizzard wants to keep players happy. Why be a sour grape, focus on what your race should get, there’s so much belf players could ask for but waste time arguing what velves shouldn’t have.
Instead they could be like “Belfs should get x and y and z and pi” and give ideas to blizzard.
Velf players are doing that constantly, hence why they get stuff. “The squeaky wheel gets the grease”.
Ok clarifying this, there’s a lot of sources in that wiki for sure. That particular claim however is not sourced there, they don’t claim to source it , they just take it from the quest with L’ura. Therefore that is their interpretation from that quest rather than something confirmed there.
Not saying Rhielle is giving stuff without reason, just saying in this case the wiki can be disputed.
Yeah that’s how it’s supposed to look lore wise, we’re pretty much a “negative” (as in graphic talk) of our character.
That being said, orcs’ racial is still just a random shaman symbol on their heads after all these years, so I don’t expect much improvements to racial artwork.
PLELFS - plural elfs… this describes the noun best I think. Of course, this is because… (sigh… gonna do it) - you all look the same to me.
But to OP, yes - I think melanin based hair colors belong on most every model.
Man i don’t want just blood elf colors but can we get jet black at least
that fits void elves just fine. maybe a few more hairstyles too, for all allied races not just void elves
While there on that subject can they give blood elfs better hair options
I like all of these.
None of that now.
I wouldn’t mind this.
No one has stopped me from asking for void options for Velfs at all.
You’re not asking for void elf customization you’re asking for high elf customization.
It’s already on void elf NPCs.
All they need to do is make it work right with the tentacles.
I’d prefer glowy tattoos. Blood knights being literally aglow with the Light is way cooler.
You could do all sorts of neat designs like the more obvious suns and phoenixes, but also the Sunwell itself, fire or Naaru since M’uru is basically blood elf Jesus.
Nah, I don’t think glow will suit them.
Also, I don’t see them mentioning m’uru much beyond the sunwell event. Can I get a link for some details?
also should be an option in the barber shop to change history to high elve and change the combat racial into something more high elf themed.
No, when you click on the portait on charecter creation, you select a void elf. As such, you are a void elf with it’s perks and downfalls. You can look like a HE, but will never be one.
I don’t see why you just can’t go to the barbershop and toggle high elf mode and change racial to be more high elf themed.
lol… you guys even want to take out the Racial?. Do you realize that they’re VOID ELVES, the fact that Blizzard gave options because they wanted to listen to your request its something.
Blurring the lines so you get the very same Elves that they gave the Horde back in 2006 its completely disrespectful. Buuut its not like you guys care much about others, after all you push that silly request and try to minimize the Nightborne player base for example.
Blood Elf is not your culture to decide who gets what. There are now blood elves on the Alliance so we get equal grabs at their culture.
Lets see…
Void Elves Male Blood Elves Skin Colours Skin Colours Bald Hair Option Bald Hair Option Eye Colours Eye Colours Hair Styles Facial Hair Ear Lenghs So, what exactly did Void Elves get more off?
Void elves got, 14 new skin tones, 10 new faces, 1 new hairstyle. (29 new things)
Bloodelf men got, 4 new skin tones, 4 new hairstyles, 3 new beards, 2 new ear options (13 new things)
So yes, 29 is more things to get than 13.
On top of that The bloodelf men didn’t really get anything significant, it’s all minor things for the most part they look the same. Where as the new skin changes for void elves are a major game changer, it’s HUGE.
Blood Elf is not your culture to decide who gets what. There are now blood elves on the Alliance so we get equal grabs at their culture.
And this is why we get problems from BE players. No, VE/BE should be different with their own assets, no Alliance is not entitled to share appearances with BE.
No one has stopped me from asking for void options for Velfs at all.
You’re not asking for void elf customization you’re asking for high elf customization.
I personally don’t want fair elves. But I think requesting the customization is valid. After all its’ the same as other races being able to ask for customization for their sub races (Wildhammer, Sand Troll, Etc.)
But even beyond that with the most important example of a velf in lore being Alleria I don’t see how people asking that is insulting or out of line for velves at all.

There are no blood elves on the Alliance. The Alliance has Void elves.

The “new faces” they got are for the most part the same faces they have in their void skins, just changed colour to their normal skin. You can use those faces in their voidy skins just like you can’t use the voidy faces in normal skins.
However categories are more important than options per category.
I don’t see how people asking that is insulting or out of line for velves at all.
Then pay attention to those who do to find the answer.
You may not agree with them but their concerns are valid.
There are no blood elves on the Alliance.
Well… There’s sorta one…
Eh, I guess she’s more neutral.
Eh, I guess she’s more neutral.
Valeera siguanar is loyal to the house of wrynn and the horde, she is not allied to the alliance directly.
Shes the Alliance diplomat for the Horde.
Yeah that’s the one. That traitor…
Valeera siguanar is loyal to the house of wrynn and the horde, she is not allied to the alliance directly.
The House of Wrynn is the Alliance.
