Give Void Elves Natural Hair Colors

Blood elves and high elves have no changes between style.

None that exist in lore.

They literally gave pale skin tones im not sure how it doesn’t seem that way to you, if you can look like it it makes it canon that that is a possible skin tone.

Maybe we will see them double down on the Void effects if they ever comment on new recruits. So even they are somewhat void effected coughs the hair.

They also didn’t give any natural hair  idk how that doesn’t stick out to you.

Throughout all his time experimenting with the void Umbric never turned purple, the silvermoon and high elven scholars who are training in the void in the starting zone do not change color, that cube in the scenario was the only thing that turned them purple due to the exposure from that ancient device, if a blood elf shadow priest does not have their skin tone forever changed after using void form why cant new void elves use the void without turning purple?

I, for one, would LOVE for Void Elves and Blood Elves to have their own, distinct idle stances and animations, similar to the Night Elves and Nightborne, to further differentiate the two from each other. Any thoughts into this, guys?

I did not say that they did im not sure where youre getting this from

Just thought I’d throw in something off-topic.

Wait for 9.1 buddy if blizzard wants to make the playerbase stop complaining they will give it to them, giving natural colors is not taking away from your uniqueness you get to keep your green and yellow eyes. You can even keep your hair styles I dont care about them. Im an advocate for more unique customization for blood elves as farstrider tats, red warpaint, I personally want light and arcane colored tattoos. And for my void elves I want purple and blue warpaint, void and arcane colored tattoos. Hair colors are not an appropriate thing for uniqueness.

Here.

Through extrapolation here.

And here.

Should I grab a few more?

There is no different style.

High elves and blood elves are the same.

Their loyalties are not. There is no difference between them.

Giving high elf customization by its very nature takes blood elven styles and themes from the Horde to the Alliance.

Folk won’t all be chompin at the bit to let that happen.

Relatively neutral on void elves getting a new stance animation. I don’t think it’s needed as long as the focus remains on void themes.

I mean, if anything, it would make sense, you know… kind of like a hair stylist apprentice cutting too much hair… maybe someone didn’t read the whole process and boom, a void elf with tentacles for arms, hah.

Yeah, because he never reached the point where he confronted a void prince who almost turned him into a void ethereal… until he and his people did.

Because they’re just learning, they haven’t gone through the change yet.

No, the process of almost being turned into creatures of void energy did that.

Because shadow priests are never that close from becoming creatures of void energy.

So yeah… you are indeed just assuming that the newly converted would not be voidy…

It’s like some people didn’t do the VE scenario watching them almost be turned into Ethereals, and then go “so what is the difference between a BE shadow priest then”. sigh

You dont understand what I mean, the high elf and blood elf style are the same. We are taking the high elf style technically as they existed before they swapped their name to the blood elves. They are the same but it is still the style of high elves since they share a style. Blood elves also go with more red and gold colors while high elves are more blue and gold or blue and silver.

Thats my point, in the scenario the cube opened and almost turned them into ethereals from the pure void magic they were intaking. The new void elves arent experiencing that.

They clearly did do it, they seem to have only taken in what they wanted to take in instead of the whole thing, though.

But it does make me feel bad for Umbric… everybody in here ignoring his words about how much they’ve been changed.

I agree with this. It always bothered me that Nightborne got this but not Void Elves.

Sure.

They’re the same thing though.

Literally there is no difference.

Blood elves are those elves. Always have been. A name change did not erase their past.

My thoughts extend that it should be VEs stance that gets changed.

I like the model and it’s stance and it was BEs first, so if changes are made that is my stance.

That’s just my personal take though.

It’s best not to get into the back and forth around here. Outbursts dont help anyone.

The nerve… it’s been touched.

More or rather, it’s not the style that’s different, but rather the color schemes. Really, everything, both style and racial background, are the same. It’s just the color schemes that differ from each other.
