Give us the stuff we paid for!

I paid for accountwide mounts and pets in Cata, yes they are on my retail account. We are now back to Cata, ON THE SAME ACCOUNT, give me the things!

We seriously bought this stuff for our ACCOUNT not for the limited time of that release.

It wasn’t for a character, it wasn’t for a server, it wasn’t for one side of the war. It was for the account.

I understand you can’t put the Sparkle Pony in vanilla and tbc, I didn’t buy it until Cata, so I understand that I didn’t get it in Wrath. But Cata is out now.

I would love to have my retail mounts/toys and pets or even transmogs from retail but lets be realistic here it’s just not possible ever.

This extends to a lot of things in the game now. Collector’s Edition owners are still missing their Lil’ Deathwing in Cata Classic, for example, despite getting the previous pets. I understand that they’ve already decided to keep TCG loot cards separate, which is understandable, but that still leaves other unaccounted for items from this era such as:

  • BlizzCon items (Murky, Murloc Costume, Big Blizzard Bear, Grunty, Deathy, Murkablo)
  • Collector’s Edition items from other Blizzard titles (Mini Thor from SC2 WoL, Fetish Shaman from D3)
  • Miscellaneous promotional item codes (Wind Rider Cub/Gryphon Hatchling, WWI Mini-Tyrael, etc.)

I feel strongly that these items should be implemented into Classic, as they were a legitimate part of the Classic experience for a lot of people. Not having them while replaying this era simply doesn’t feel correct.

Some things like the RAF or Scroll of Resurrection mounts would probably be fine to redistibute through new, similar promotions, but items that were purchased with real money or obtained via means outside the game should absolutely be re-granted to their owners in Classic.

They should probably file a bug report or ticket then, for clarification.

I’ve already attempted this myself and the response is simply “it’s not a feature,” implying it’s just not a thing they’ve implemented yet despite having done it previously in Classic. All we can do at this point is ask for it—I’m not aware of the pet being granted to anyone at all yet.

You have it… on your retail account.

You bought it for World of Warcraft. Not for World of Warcraft Classic.

Truthfully, I would be happy just to have my Goblin Trike.

I bought a Moonkin Hatchling in Cata because I was maining Moonkin… in Cata…

Bought it specifically for cataclysm. Would be awesome to have it again, for cataclysm, which is what I bought it for.

Won’t be paying for the same item twice though so we’ll see what happens I guess lol.

It literally is possible though. They accidentally put one of the 6 month rewards into classic. It was a big forest dragon or something.

And now they’re selling that dragon!

I’m so frustrated about this specifically, because I saw the mount in game and looked at the store and saw the classic icon on the banner of the deal (but didn’t realize that was specifically calling out the PET was classic but the mount was retail).

So I got told to kick rocks and the naysayers called me stupid for not reading the fine print before hitting buy. And now look! It’s for sale.

On the topic of mounts they should have sprinkled the TCG mounts back into the classic game as rare raid drops or something. The way they gave them to everyone in retail (who already have 100s of mounts anyway) for basically nothing was just unbelievable.

I think Blizzard made it abbundandly clear that the Classic servers and retail servers are two different entities. You have em both on your account but for all purposes they are different games so stuff that you have bought for your retail game you bought for that. They dont cross over to a different game.

Again…maybe its because I understood the point and some other people simply dont think things through…

Somebody get this orc a sparkle pony

I don’t know man. blizzard never intended for a classic run to happen. The things were sold as Account Bound.

They still do things now that go to both versions, just the classic version is a downrezzed model.

We didn’t buy things for the Retail version, we bought it for our accounts. Now, you go-to the store and they have retail and classic, but nothing specified that back then. It was for your account, all toons old new and future.

how big is your funko pop collection?

Or. And hear Blizzard out.

They could charge you again for the same item, and then post another good quarter so the execs can get their Executive Compensation payout.

Won’t someone please think of the shareholders! :sob:
