I am playing vanilla right now, weapon swing only matters for HS queing and WF/HoJ constantly resets your MH keeping them from being on the same timer. Tell me you don’t actually sim/understand your character without telling me. Obviously we are talking about OH

He mentioned axes, the implication being dps warrior, because a tank warrior wouldn’t use axes or be an orc. OH weapon speed doesn’t matter as dps.
If an orc mentioned wanting fast axes, why would you assume him to be a DPS and not a tank? A tank would specifically want a fast MH and thus this post would make complete sense…
Because tanks use edgies with daggers until TF. Its much more likely it was a dps warrior wrongly thinking fast OH is better(many warriors think this for some reason) than a tank looking for a fast axe. If you’re an orc tank using axes you don’t care enough about performance to care about the threat diff anyways
More offhand swings means more hits which means more crits which means more uptime on flurry. It’s definitely better to have a faster offhand.

HS is auto attack speed, its not an instant.
As a result for threat faster = BiS.

Bigger crit = more rage, the fast OH myth has been disproven many times by sims and logs, and offhand also uses flurry stacks so any advantage is lost

Yeah I’m pretty sure that’s his point though… if there WERE fast R14 axes, you could happily play orc for Chad PvP racial + use your other racial to benefit raiding and not have to get edgies for daggers/swords.
Atleast that’s how I took it because I’ve thought the same thing in the past. Trolls are ugly and their racials suck for PvP. 5% health for Tauren is low impact and war stomp is useless for raiding. Undead are too ugly to consider ever playing.
