blizzard the whole “so we were thinking about adding that casting energy bolts as a third spec but then we though, thats a warlock, with that we decided to keep as 2 specs”…we dont care, we want our old demonology back but since you guys wont do it because metamorphosis its supposed to be a dh thing and demonology is supposed to be a bunch of demons centered thing, give demon hunter the shadow demon caster hybrid as a 3 spec, and before u say “but thats a warlo…” ILLIDAN (BEHOLD THE POWER OF A DEMON WITHIN!!!) WHOLE PHASE OF THE FIGHT WANTS TO HAVE A WORD WITH U BLIZZARD

Please, do not give anything else from Warlocks to Demon Hunters. Instead, give back Warlocks what DH have taken.

the problem is…blizzard will not do that no matter what, so…our only hope is a dh 3 spec…and besides, anything else what? blizzard already took our most glorious kit out of us, there´s nothing else for them to steal about the old demonology
i want my demonology back…even if it means sacrificing that old position for a new class.
i want my god damn purple darkness avatar god darkness demon form back and then cast my big balls of pitch black darkness and burst the health out of anyone that stands in my way…i miss that, i was a main of that for the beggining i was playing the game, and i want it back!!!
Given the challenges of balance go up permanently every time you add new specs to the game, I wouldn’t hold out a lot of hope to get more spec options.
Since Demon Hunters only have 2 specs and Druids have 4, they should move one of the Druid specs over to Demon Hunters. I suggest Restoration.

As if warlocks were the only ones who lost something because of DH …

This is a great idea. I think I like destruction more though. Flinging Chaos bolts around like it’s nobody’s business.

Rogues were also impacted with ability pruning for DH to become playable, but not as much as Warlocks.

There are many ways in which the addition of DH changed classes:
Abilities were nerfed so DH could be viable in balance.
Some specific utilities, like monk tanking style, DK grasps, and Druid tanking were all rendered “alternative” because DH absorbed those utilities.
Some abilities were changed to DH instead of their main lorewise adequate holders, like the Warlock “many” things they lost in legion, and talents either lost or rendered inviable for DKs, with the sole purpose to make DK not a “DH killer”.
Meanwhile, DH kept being a class that looks “unfinished” and a “placeholder for Illidan hype”, as other classes were changed to balance with it, while the DH itself has a limited number of specs, abilities and weapons.
To illustrate what I am saying, it is like hiring a high school dropout to be an accountant, and make all other accountants use only high school skills so they can all be “balanced”.
for some reason i though you would say that…and actually, this doesnt matter since spectral sight makes dh slower got a cooldown and a time duration, all u need to do is stay away from the dh until if falls off…its no big deal at all
