hey look, maybe in your grey parsing resto druid world i dont need all those specs, but in my world i do need and want them.

The game is not designed for you to be able to do everything on one character. A single talent is not going to make or break your fury spec. You do not need 3 tank specs. If you want to PvE and PvP just make a second character, hell it’ll help with your apparent need to min/max by letting you choose the optimal race for either

you assuming what i need and don’t is not any better. There are people that play to reach a certain level of proficiency with their class and you should accept that we don’t all have the same goals. Would it hurt you to allow people to have more than 2 specs? It’s wotlk classic, let people have their fun…

This all ties-in to shaman tanking, warlock tanking, 1 v 1 arenas, A purely non-objective based BG, etc.
I can’t answer that, I don’t know your mind. Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, and I respect that, just as I’m entitled to disagree with it, and hope others can respect that. I just don’t stand for resorting to insults and putting people down just because they disagree
Also I just want more people making alts. The world is dead, I’ve been listed in group finder on my hunter basically the whole time I’ve been logged in on her and she didn’t get her first dungeon run until the Nexus at level 73-

I don’t know if you’re still on bloodsail buccaneer but it’s a dead server… Grobbulus would be a better place for you, when my server died (deviate delight) I went over to grob with free transfers, now i transfered to whitemane to join a raid team that fit my schedule.
People are levelling an insane amount of alts right now because of joyous journeys, maybe not on bloodsail though.
If RDF is cross realms, you will be able to find groups for dungeons while staying on your realm

I see your point and I’ll defend the OP in that he may have taken yours and snipe’s advice as gaslighting; even if it wasn’t your intention, because I know it was definitely sniper’s.
Now I’ll elaborate on where I’m going with what I’m saying.
We have had, and still have, a conservative demographic that has been opposed to any kind of suggestion that thinks outside the box, for years. Anytime the things I previously listed have been asked for, along with what the OP has suggested (def not the first time this has been asked for), always meets with the resistive “NO”. And it’s always some excuse as to logistics, expansion authenticity, or what-not.
I won’t discount your position on this issue as invalid, but I personally don’t see an issue with allowing mutli-specs; meaning, more than just 2 to choose from.
So anytime when we’re told, NO; you can’t have this, that, etc. in the game, it can be misconstrued as trolling.

exactly, im a bit more direct so some people don’t like it but it’s what it boils down to
I mean, a third spec would go a long way, we can compromise and forgo 7 to 8 specs as you suggested.
Just feels like 2 isn’t enough.

idk man, i dont see why we should put the limit that low. the game needs more gold sink, 3rd spec could be 2k then 3 and so on up to like 10 or something

Fair enough, I can see where you’re coming from on that.
Personally, I wouldn’t lose any sleep over them making a change like this - the unspoken argument is more “if they’re going to change stuff I’d rather they focus their efforts on other things”. As an example, something I’d like to see in place of a change like this would be something like…making the older tier gear cheaper to buy. It’d help upcoming characters get into the newer content faster by needing fewer resources to springboard into the ICC heroics and gammas
For others, it’s probably a matter of not wanting to change more than already has been, i.e., preserving what’s left of the original game, even if some things have changed it doesn’t mean everything has to change

I agree. I personally don’t see any problem with it; however, those opposed to it still have a say in the game, and by compromise maybe we can satisfy all our issues.

that would be a thing if equipment are account bound
then making alts of same class for different spec would be awesome.
