Well you had a good idea but you killed it.
Guild halls should be built by guilds. More effort put into the guild hall, the better the guild hall.
Also, guild halls should be PvP where other guilds (or unguilded barbarians) can pillage rival guild halls for prestige and loot. But only dreaming. Blizz devs would never do this. lol

I don’t care about guild halls or player housing and wouldn’t use them.
That being said, I’m not opposed to them since they presumably wouldn’t hurt me in any way.

Lots of resource cost. Little benefit.
It’s probably something they would like to do, but it’s not a priority. Without being a priority it’s just not going to get the resources required to make it a reality.
Sorry to say this so negatively but this is the situation.
Not to mention a ton of things could go horrible wrong post release. It’s a big risk. It’s not a universally desired feature. Heck, it probably doesn’t even make top 5, for what most people want to see coming from the game going into the next expansion and beyond.
Honestly, people who type like OP should be the first to receive forum vacations.

Sounds cool, but it’s just player housing. I bet a bunch of people would create their own guilds to have their own private house. At least, that’s what I would do.
But let’s say there’s a requirement that says the guild has to have players from different bnet accounts. Who decides on the decor? the missions? etc? The GM? Cause then it’s the GMs hall.
