Then why did I waste time playing in Anniversary if I just could have stayed in Era the entire time?

I don’t see how there were a ton of requests for transfer…what they are doing now is the same as 2021 minus the opportunity to have characters in both Era and TBC.
I would absolutely pay $35 to have my toon in both TBC and Era. And given a precedent had been set in 2021, I’m feeling stuck.
It really sucks.

Not having cloning makes ZERO sense.
There is also no incentive to play on Anniversary servers at all in the next 2 months.
