Give us better food and water

Please give us better food and water.

Ret pallies don’t have a lot of mana so I doubt they’ll ever bother to add better water. Blizzard only makes changes to their game if it directly benefits them  (

I was wondering if food starts to be really pointless if you have like 40-50K hp

Also, does mana scale at all with the new sanctified system?

The tooltip implies only health.

Food and water should have been %based since phase 5. New food and water giving 2% like the holiday food. Its easier to bandage or wait for a bandage cooldown than eat 2 quail.

Mana wont scale as mana costs wont change. And if it did it would be bad because rune spells use low % base mana costs and not flat mana like trained spell ranks

No and it’s weird because HPals lose roughly 20% of their max mana going from full t2.5 to t3 since they scrubbed almost all actual stam/int stats off of gear in Naxx. So each heal does more but we can still only cast the same number of spells. However, I’m hoping that the bonkers dmg increase from the sanctified mechanic will make spriest/ret mana return so high that we’ll have infinite mana. I hope so anyways.

Well, there is, get to revered with Argent Dawn and farm stratholme holy water.

The 4k health food from av is just not cutting it for a tank anymore

Argent Dawn rep vendor has biscuits that are better than Morning Dew (they give 4k instead of 2.9k) but the same health as level 45 food.

That’s a really weird spelling of shaman.

Go for the AV Biscuits, it’s 4k HP and 4k mana. And unlike the AB Rations, AV Biscuits can be used anywhere.

I think you need Friendly with your faction’s AV rep to get them.

I suggest blizzard add two new passive skills that we can acquire at 60 from an Innkeeper:

Savory Delights and Potent Potables

Which, while eating or drinking will cause you to regen 5 times the regen rate of the food and water you consume.

…basically, the game would look at your, say, Drinking buff and give you another Drinking buff that’s 5 times that amount.

This way there’s no accidental bleed over into Era/HC; unless they mess up the loot tables of Innkeepers.

Additionally, you don’t force Mages to find a new book for conjured food and water. And by using the original Eating/Drinking buff you discourage players from bringing lvl 25 food and regening a massive amount of health for cheap.

…also they don’t have to add new food/drink items (like what they did with expansions) to vendors.
