I remember reading something about deleting your character and restoring them would do this.

No, not nesscearily. One could easily drop. Initial games just have more influence so as to try to expedite people to where they need to be to have close to a 50% winrate.

Would be nice… Sometimes theres a hole you cant get out of. Ie- falling to a mmr where games are brand new healers with no rating who dont know what they are doing. DPS who dont press CDs, etc. getting out can be roughhhhh.

This works in WoTLK classic, no reason to believe it wouldn’t work on retail too.

Ok so you’re half right. This is one of the exploits that people are abusing heavily right now. Deleting your character doesn’t reset your CR/MMR but it does put you back into placement games where your MMR is super volatile.

This is why we’re seeing so many people at like 1700 max xp suddenly nearing 3k in shuffles. They queue up, queue a shuffle or two, delete, restore, repeat.

wow that’s pretty op lol. is it still one restore per week? Easy fix would be like. Idk. Once per character per year or something.
