I really like this idea, it can be a new spec or just a skin for the arms or fury warrior, in case that skins would be added in the future

Eh. I think Gladiator stance can stay dead. It’s not like you can’t play a sword and board warrior anymore.
Make gladiator the 4th warrior spec

He means as a dps spec.
Their reasoning for removing it was not great, but I’m all for bringing gladiators resolve back as a separate dps spec

I’d be down for this. Gladiator, when it did exist, was pretty fun. And sword-and-shield as something other than strictly being a tank would be an interesting flavor.
It’s less inane than what they did with Survival, I’ll put it that way.

I have been playing my Fury Warrior almost as much, if not more than, my monk lately. I started him in WoD, and Fury and the Gladiator build were so much fun to play. It bummed me out when they removed it, but I am glad I was around when it was a thing.
I am hoping that these new talent trees mean options to play, like this. I feel like it’s a no-brainer. Time will tell-- looking forward to seeing all the new class talent trees.

I know. The reason for adding it wasn’t great, as it was the development version of thinking out loud.
There’s no inherent fantasy separate from Protection that this fulfills. You fight with a weapon and a shield, using personal brawn over calling on a higher power. Your place on the DPS chart is immaterial to this fantasy.
In a world with unlimited resources and freedom, sure. Bring it back. Turn it into a whole class. But in a world where we can get barely two specs added every 2-3 expansions? I’d rather get distinct additions.
I was warrior main from Classic up until WoD, and I would have stayed with that if I didn’t discover how fun DK was 
It was also at a point where warrior’s were given something so amazing (Glad), only to be absolutely neutered later in that same expansion

A lot of classes were hit hard (warlocks, rogues, hunters hit hardest of them all imo) in that round of class reiterations.
It makes me kind of salty that I have shield abilities given back from prior pruning on my Fury spec. I have a passive for dual wielding 1h weapons and one for dual wielding 2h weapons, but no passive that buffs shields. Some might say it’s a slap in the face!
They gave us shield abilities but no stance dancing abilities!!!

The reason for adding it was because of the players base asking for it. And people loved until they nerfed it into oblivion and made it useless for both pve and pvp. There’s no problem with want to use it purely for dps.
When they removed it the main reason was balancing loot around it and other tanks specs, but that was not even a good reason considering that every dps spec in the game with 2 hand weapons competes with blood dks and the three other specs that use 1 hand weapons as well (ww monks, fury warriors, frost dks) competes with healer and tanks specs for loot. If they had told us that the one talent didn’t work with the new wave of systems that they were starting in Legion then everyone would have taken that excuse a lot better than we initially did.
Bringing it back won’t hurt anyone. Just adjust the defensive aspects of the spec for pvp (which was where it caused the most problems) and then it’d be okay.
Prot is literally sword and board.
You want to do high DPS with a shield? Sorry, it just doesn’t make sense.

Gladiator spec was so much fun and it’s stupid Blizzard removed it. Bring back Gladiator as a 4th Warrior Spec. Make a holy damage ranged paladin spec, too.
