The central part of the argument I read is “raids are easier”, “better players”, “faster raids”.
Maybe…just maybe, some of us don’t mind killing raid bosses in a guild with a mix of people, together. Maybe some of us want the experience and don’t want to go through a boss in 3 minutes or a raid in 30 minutes.
and maybe…we want to experience wow again, like it was in 2005.
This will be another chance to do that…and in 2005 there were no GDKP raids, at least in the guild and server I was in at the time, Frostmane.

Era had a higher population than SoD did even up to WoTL, this is objective fact.
gdkps never stopped you from playing this way. especially gdkps on a gdkp enabled server.

The fallacy that SoD population is low ONLY because GDKPs are banned. You want that to be true so badly but it isnt. Because if it were, itd be plainly obvious to everyone and you wouldnt have to even say it. Itd go without saying.
Youre the minority. You destroyed Era. You destroyed TBC. You destroyed wrath. Youve destroyed Cata. The economy on Cata is the culmination of 5 years of unchecked GDKPs - enabling everything that feeds IN to them and everything that feeds OFF of them - and whether you like it or not, no matter how loudly you and the rest of your gdkp discords kick and scream due to your lost free money from selling gold, the rest of the playerbase wants a permanent and clear separation from you.
