That sounds like more of the Horde treatment that people have specifically not wanted.
Horde or Horde-adjacent characters are often leading expansion stories, so I’m okay with some Alliance-themed narratives for a change. I want to learn more about this mysterious Light Emperor.

Well the goblins we met are mostly venture co company
Guys who’ve been bad guys forever, so guess that counts as horde content cuz they’re an evil group with blizz writers

The only cartel that’s in the Horde is the Bilgewater, and I doubt any of their npcs will get the villain bat with obvious exception to Gallywix.

Killing Gallywix would be dumb so I wouldn’t be surprised if they do it
Gallywix betrayed the Horde, abandoned his post and got replaced by Gazlowe.
He is not a Horde character anymore. We can and should use his triple chin as a punching bag to restore the Horde’s honor that was stained by his greed.

Personally I think this might change.
I can totally see gazlowe coming in, taking control back from gallywix (who probably made a deal with xalatath), and becoming leader of a united goblin race.
What you’re telling me is that they already ruined a Horde character that can fill the role so they don’t need to ruin another one.

I made a Goblin Shaman just so I can get some neat goblin-themed mogs when that raid comes out.
Gnomeregan, Mechagon, Motherlode and Blackrock Foundry are some of my favorite dungeons/raids in the game. The tech-y stuff is always a fun time, imo.

It’s definitely within the realm of possibility, though it’d be a pretty dramatic expansion of Horde territory if the steamweedle joined the Horde. The bilgewater being able to return to Kezan, and being top dogs there is a fair bit different from Bootybay, Gadgetzan, and Ratchet all flying a red flag.

I mean… To be fair, Gallywix betraying the Horde for money isn’t really “ruining” his character, as much as it is his natural progression.
Gallywix started in WoW by betraying the player, selling the player as a slave, then fighting Thrall, losing that fight and then offering Thrall his services with a comically fake apology.
He was always going to betray the Horde as soon as something more lucrative appeared. It was never a matter of if, but when lol
