That is all.
While it does make sense, the mages will get upset that their pets are seeing other people.
Its a dps loss in most scenarios anyway for frost to use ele over lonely winter
sadly
Exactly, so just share it with Shamans
Shamans don’t have permanent pets for a reason. And there’s already elementals they can call upon for help. So unless they give them one as a healing cooldown, it doesn’t make much sense to add another.
What is this reason?
Because they don’t bind or enslave elements. They ask for help and the elements choose to do so. Elements don’t permanently stick around unless permanently bound, which is not how Shaman work.
I didn’t mean as a permanent pet, just as a helper for restoration
Which is why I said…
Well then you didn’t need to say anything in the first place, cuz I never implied having them as a permanent pet.
You never implied them as a cooldown either. Which is why I said what I said, covering both sides of the coin. At least I gave details. You made a vague thread and didn’t even explain yourself.
Don’t get snippy with me when you’re the one who wrote nothing but:
Hahaha true
I think the only issue you’ll run into is what cooldown do they get rid of for a water elemental? I don’t think they’ll just add one without deleting something.
Give rogues a shadow elemental. It’s about time we get a tank pet damn it
A little off topic but I challenge blizz to make enhancement have a tank talent tree and have an elemental ( probably earth ) be large part of the tool kit. Enhancement would retain its melee dps talents. ( conceptually similar to gladiator stance for prot warriors in WoD ).
Back to water elemental for resto… maybe have it as a talent where if the resto shaman is also playing their character with doing damage in addition to healing, the elemental is auto summoned after x amount of dps and will do group wide healing allowing the shaman to continue to dps. Appropriate cooldown required before it will before it’s re-summoned of course. I dunno just tossing out ideas.
+1, id love Resto getting perhaps a River Guardian water elemental like the Highmountain Taurens Shamans in Legion.
Even if it’s a major cooldown that summons one throws out heals for x amount of time then vanishs, be nice each spec get elementals respectively…
Ele - Storm/Fire
Enhance - Ghost Wolves
Resto - River Guardian or a Disciple of Neptulon Elemental…
Water elemental summon for resto shaman please and thank you. Absolute insanity we don’t have one already (or a talent for it to replace earth elemental for example).
Well were super moist for a reason blizz even had there April fools joke about it. makes sense to have a water elemental.
I do love using the water ele on my frost mage but I wouldn’t mind sharing it with my shams. I say give it to resto shams and make it work like a secondary healer the same way storm/fire ele works as a dps for ele shams.
Also GIVE UNHOLY DKS A PERMANENT VAL"KIER SUMMON INSTEAD OF THE BASIC GHOUL WE CAN GLYPH WITH SKELETON OR GIEST.
Sorry for caps but seriously after losing the legion talent to have an abomination instead of a basic ghoul and how blizz still refuses to make summon gargoyle baseline again, the only way I can have a val’kier is through the gargoyle talent and having it changed in legion acherus to a val’kier.
Seriously blizz give us unholy dks the chance.
Also at this point let dks and warlocks have a tame pet function so we can dominate/enslave new pets. It would definitely make many of us thrilled.
all fun and games till a frost mage goes on a murderous rampage having caught their water elemental cheating on them with a shaman lol. I’d say shamans need a wind elemental that’s not only there by a talent.
