Unfortunately the class/spec fantasy will come from somewhere and Blizz will gut the other specs for the fantasy/lore. So say goodbye to your main earth abilities if you are resto, wind if you are enh, etc.
If I had faith in blizz to not mess the other specs up Id be down for it entirely, hell my shaman’s mog has always been “earth warden”-ey.

Shaman tank has been something that has been talked about for over a decade. If they haven’t done it by now, I doubt they ever will. Don’t get your hopes up.
why dont we make every class tank and healer classes as well.
Because priests wear cloth and cant equip shields. It would be like beating up a picnic mat.
Back in the day when resist gear mattered you’d have Warlocks tanking raid bosses due to their high threat from Seating Pain and high resistance to whatever school was needed like fire.
i’d rather enhance be shifted to be like fury warriors: can go 2h or dw, with each style having their own pros and cons. but then again i’m biased against 2h tanking, still say dual wield frost should have stayed tank spec. but i am absolutely for shaman tanks!
