Rogues were always meant to get a buckler shield spec in WoW Launch during Vanilla but that was scrapped while the items and names were still in the game.
I think it would be cool to add this 4th spec to Rogues and add the Buckler to the spec loadout. New mogs and New Rogue playstyle.
They should have made vengence and havoc spec Rogue’s 4th and 5th spec imo.

Sure! I play rogue tanks fairly frequently in CRPGs like Pillars. They’re kind of absurd when built right.
I like mage tanks even better in said games and would like to see those in WoW too.
Realistically, though, we will see neither. 
How do you come up with your spam threads? Do you have some kind of random title generator and then whatever comes up you just improv?
I’d still love to see a melee battle-mage spec implemented. Tank or not, would be incredibly fun.

I want a mage tank that blends arcane and frost magic to defend themselves and allies.
I mean come on. They could make frost armour a proper thing with an awesome visual… or make them warp time with arcane magic to anticipate and dodge incoming blows.

Tid bit, Rogues was meant to have bucklers in original WoW but they scrapped that idea.
I know I believe it was in the body of my original post. We need it returned to the Rogue class fantasy!
Evasion tanking used to be a thing, if I’m not mistaken.
