There are tons of activities to do, and it’s a shame we don’t get any incentive to do them after we’ve capped for the month.
Maybe a small amount of gold or similar would be nice, to give continued incentive to interact with that content for the whole month.

I think that is part of why there are no rewards after cap so there is no pressure to reach those incentives.

Im happy with it being a one and done thing.
I dont want to be told i should keep going.
The system is good as is.

I mean, 90% of the tasks are just playing the game and rewards are given as you progress through each task.
But hey, who am I to say no to more free stuff? So if Blizz did something like this, I wouldn’t complain.
I don’t think a small gold reward or similar would undue pressure on people into completing the log.
If it does, that’s kinda on them haha.
Getting the log notifications after I’ve capped is…annoying? If they don’t provide continued incentives, maybe provide a setting to turn off log attainment notifications after cap.

You’re right. It is probably on them - I’m afraid I’m the sort of treadmill hamster that this company loves so for me I’d see it as a track (especially if rewards ramped up as you did more). Is why I avoid Genshin and Hearthstone.
But it’s the same reason why even stuff like Anima grinding was removed. It didn’t give player power and most of it was to buy cosmetics. But it was another infinite grind and collect which is bad for some personality.
So yep it is a me problem, but I know there are others.
I agree with the log notifications after cap being removed.

You could just stop when you feel like it?

I’d vote against it. First, we have to work harder at it for “fun”. Second, we’re at the mercy of what they put up on the trading post. Third, I’m very happy to complete my TP goal in usually one night, and then ignore it for the rest of the month while riding around on my new (whatever that 1000 point completion thing is).
I don’t think letting Blizzard design our rewards as wall posters and not randomizing it or suiting it to our gameplay is a good precedent. Not a huge fan of how static these rewards would be. Stale is the word I’ll use as they recycle in and out month by month, we’re already getting re-postings within a year.
But do I care a lot? No, not really. I’ll do exactly as much as gives me a benefit, because at it’s heart this is trivial/fun content.

Guys I’m not suggesting huge rewards. Toss a guy a bone, like 100g or something so getting log completions beyond cap doesn’t feel useless.
That, or remove the notifications after cap.
I feel the trading post has more value as a form of feedback to the devs (and ourselves) about what we like to spend our time doing when there isn’t any pressure.
(but I’m also against the idea of even more permanent rewards for temporary events)
Maybe completing the log in full would give 50 gold. I could live with that.
(But I can tell you even if they made it 100g then people would ask for more, so is why I’m just generally against the idea).
This
I could get on board with.

Well if you put it that way, sure, it may be more fun than the equally easy dragonriding world quests. Make it pay like a Darkmoon Faire quest monthly, get something useful for completing the bingo card. If it’s not just a 1:1 and infinitely creeping flying broom collection and more tenders, I’m down with some extra rewards
I just want to be done someday and have the notifications stop.
Give me more “fomo” next month, please.
