“SecTech bad cause no animation” actual 3 IQ response. Few of the Rogue abilities have great animations. Like 10%. A poor animation is not a valid reason to want an ability replace. You said nothing about its actual effect, dps, or how it fits into the rotation. Go play FF14FFS
Crazy how a guy thats 6/8 N and doesnt do M+ nor PvP thinks he has enough of a grasp over the class to propose changes. You grey parsed every fight you did on Normal.

Crazy how you immediately go to stats. We now know where your ‘fun’ is at, which isn’t fun for the rest of us casual players. Also, it’s only the third week. Give me another month or two and I’ll finish M+ and 8/8 in Normal, sweatlord.

You literally dont know how to play the class. Else you wouldnt grey parse. You dont do the content either, 6/8 Normal with full grey parses means your raid is fine with carrying you along for the ride.
You literally don’t know what you’re talking about. I know how to play Assassination Rogue AND Outlaw Rogue just fine. Parsing means nothing to a casual like me, so take your elitesm somewhere else. Just because I’m not playing my class to the metric maximum, does not make me a bad player, just a casual, which I fully admit.

I don’t really care for Sec Tech, it’s kinda zug zug and just breaks cc. At the same time I don’t like the idea of perma shadow clones, I feel like that’d be more of a WW thing.
That being said Shadow Reflection needs to make a return of some form. I find it much more intriguing and fun burst cd than shadow blades. In short, fantastic burst for pve, and fantastic utility/burst for pvp. In WoD each spec could take the talent, and it would play greatly into Sins death mark.

I can get behind this! Maybe tie in Shadow Reflection to Symbols of Death? I think Symbols lasts 12-15sec? I feel that’d be a pretty cool additional effect!

I started in Legion after this ability was removed so i have no experience playing with it. But just based off how the ability works, you would not get as much out of it as you think cause of how the game has evolved since then. In PvP especially, people are gonna try to CC you during the major CDs if youre playing Sub. With Shadow Blades, you have 16 seconds to get that damage out. If Shadow Reflection came back the same way, that 8 second duration would make it too easy to just stun you and prevent the effects of an entirely offensive CD. This isnt even considering the fact that it only has 1 target.
For PvE itd obviously still be good, but I dont feel it would add anything to the gameplay similar to how Sin’s Deathmark doesnt enhance the gameplay (beyond actually letting you play the spec without seconds of downtime after using Mutilate).
Sins DM is already one of the worst offensive CDs in the game for PvP.
If you actually understood the specs youd understand why this is a horrible idea.
If the CC spec is being out CC’d you are playing Sub wrong, and need to hang up the daggers.
Yes, but unless you’re like swapping the go because of trinket/defensive then that doesn’t really matter because your target should die in stun windows.
As sub, shadow reflection was cool in pvp for 2v1ing. You used to be able to say sap a healer, throw your clone on said healer while they’re sapped. Open dps, blind them after your go. Then swap cloned target that is now being stunned and killed. Then if you didn’t kill it’d copy blind so you could say go back on dps… It was kinda crazy… But it was fun.
For the other specs it was just nuts for pvp burst, hands down. Like vendetta and killing spree goes with clone was bonkers.
I never said it HAS to be warlords reflect, but I think a modified version can be easily made.
As sub in pvp right now, I would legit just throw clones on my off target and do the most insane swaps since you now have 2 dances and not 1. It would be free to set up, and would work well with the current play style. BUT it wouldn’t be something you just throw at a guy to single target burst.
Also as I was saying earlier, the sap into cc from your clone is kinda good for cross cc. Its legit like summoning another rogue to cross cc for you.

I mean I won’t say you’re wrong, but SR would replicate the DM bleeds too. So you could have like 4 sets of bleeds on one person.
THAT BEING SAID. I would much rather have Vendetta on a choice nod or something new.
“Poison Frenzy” - All attacks now do poison/nature damage, in addition your mastery is increased by 20%. (A way to make vendetta a self applied buff rather than a single target debuff)
Idk, blizzards lazy though. I’m sure next xpac they will just give assa another shiv or something stupid and call it a day.

Yeah your synopsis was helpful and i see what it brings. It’s definitely a PvP talent or Class Capstone contender.
I thoroughly enjoy how they gave Sin an extra charge of Sin, stating that itd allow one to be left for utility purposes, saw that never happened, and then used the same reasoning to give every spec an additional Vamish charge.
