Maybe giving a tank an AoE silence as part of their rotational ability or 7 AoE stops isn’t the best for balancing?
Weird because basically every top tank was guardian in season 2.
Maybe players need to give other tanks a chance, not Blizzard. Blizzard can’t force you to play something.
Why would they do that when they are too busy being sheep and following the calculated “best meta specs” that the top 1% players tell them?
based on this data, i think Blood DK over takes DH by the end of S3 and then in some unexpected twist Monk takes over season 4.
(or it should be that way so every tank has their time as a decently strong option)

Simplest solution is to make all the interrupts into AOE interrupts. If it’s good enough for Avenger’s Shield, it’s good enough for everyone else.
We can give Paladin’s something wonderful from another spec, in return. Perhaps that really cool dragon statue from the monk tree.
This is the real issue. Whatever the top players in the world deem the best specs are what everyone wants to play with.
They should give blood dks more utility, and the ability to not die in .4 seconds

Those graphs if anything confirm that paladin dh and bear tanks are relatively easier for players to pick up and learn. Brewmaster needs a phd in math, warriors start strong and then gwt left behind when the buffs get handed out. Dk i would put somewhere between paladin and bm.

Ok, I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt here, because Blizz forums can be pretty unclear on whom you are replying to, but my post was in response to this:

To be more serious here, I don’t know exactly how close tank balance is, I’m not a tank expert and would never claim to know such things, so I don’t know if tank balance is reasonably close or wildly unbalanced.
But what I do know is that the top 1% of players hyperoptimise and try to get every possible advantage, no matter how miniscule it is, and then the rest of the community sees what the best players are doing, what the best players say is the strongest, and then tries to follow them exactly at the detriment of other classes. Even if all classes are viable at a 15 or below, which they are, and even if the balance discrepancy is minimal, which it probably isn’t knowing how blizzard balances things, but hypothetically even if it’s only within a few %, groups will actively try to get the perceived best classes that the best players are using.
Hence, sheep.

Make double keg baseline and turn talent into aoe silence? Or on every second keg?

Am I one of the few who do not like tanking on a monk? You feel squishy compared to the other tanks and you have way too many buttons/abilities.
Those are pretty common complaints among most monk tanks.
Might even take it, then. They’ve continuously nerfed Keg Smash so much, most Brewmasters aren’t even taking the 2-charge talent, anymore.
They don’t really do balance for M+ too much. This patch it’s a bit better because timers are more forgiving, blood dks in high keys are mostly doing safe pulls and just hoping dps can time the key.
One day maybe they’ll buff back blood dk armor so we don’t have as much armor as a dps. For a spec that is wearing plate it doesn’t show as much anymore.
