Why is this even something that needs to be requested constantly? There are different variations of pets. You cannot get certain skill levels on pets without taming others (example : Rank 7 claw, Bite, Rank 3 dive, Rank 3 dash) etc. There are pets you just wont get rid of because they’re on a 9 hour + timer (arash ethis, Broken tooth). GIVE HUNTERS MORE STABLE SLOTS ALREADY ffs.

Just have 5 total would be so helpful.
I keep having to abandon my pet every ohase just to learn the bew ranks.
A quicker way to level pets would be nice as well

There is nothing on these forums I agree with more than hunters needing more stable slots.
Most requests on here are totally braindead, 3 stable slots is just bad.

You only need 2 pets. Fast cat for ranged, slow cat for melee.
So ignore the value of other pets that have situational usefulness?
Wolf is great for aggro tag pulls.
Bird has actual aoe threat capability and an ap debuff that can be useful for some raids.
Scorpid can provide dispel protection in pvp.
Boar has a root charge that is useful in pvp
The list goes on.
Each pet had value for at least 2 senario.
Plus the synergy with wind serpents and the ST fist weapon combo.
The tank ability of bears, the introduction of spirit animals which hunters like to collect, the core hound which does great against certain elemental mobs. The list is indeed long and then factor in the limited skill gains and needing other animals for specific pet talents . Youd think with all that, and the two decades the game category has been out blizzard would know hunters needed more slots. Starting to think if u had to purchase these devs somewhere, youd find them discounted on temu
You will use cat and you will like it. Blizzard made it abundantly clear that no other pet was allowed when they nerfed kill command and scorpids.
Hunter is perhaps the most jank of the vanilla classes. If after this beta test that is SoD they do a more serious classic revamp, hunter should get a lot of QoL upgrades/updates including more stable slots.
The problem with this change is it would require a DBA to update some SQL or something like that.
WoW SOD is all about just make changes to configuration data and scripts. Low cost things that are probably done by someone on the other side of the world.
You’re asking them to spend too much money.
Blizzard is worth 59.91 billion dollars. They’ve routinely pulled in more money yearly in the amount of 7billion net revenue. Yeaaa i dont wanna hear they dont have enough money to write another few lines of code to run additional stable slots. Its not that difficult for smaller developers, it def wont be for blizzard.
Blizzard is a small, indie company. Cut them some slack.
