On my account, I’ve got gold coming out of my ears and other orifices and can buy one or more tokens.
My wife’s account has been expired for quite a while, but I’d like to reactivate it for a while with a token. Her account doesn’t have very much gold.
Is there some way I can transfer a token to a trial character on her account or something?

How to Get a WoW Token if I Run Out of Game Time
You can buy a WoW Token from your character selection screen if you run out of game time and have enough gold available.
Requirements
- The available gold must be on a single realm
- You must be logged into the realm where you have the gold
- The gold from all of your characters on a single realm counts toward the total available
- Gold in your mailbox counts toward the total available
So if you mail the gold to your wife’s character, she will be able to use the gold in her mailbox to buy a token from the login screen.
OK, that might work.
But there’s a couple other problems with her account login so I’m going to wait until that’s cleared up to actually try it.
The #1 problem is that it’s her account, not yours. So legally, you can’t take it over.
I’m not trying to take it over, I’m trying to pay for a month’s worth of time.
