Give Frostmourne transmog for DKs with Lorewalker Timewalking

This is the best chance to add Frostmourne appearance, for Dks.

We will literally step into the role of the Lich king, we will be him for a while and do these timewalking quests.

It would only make sense if at the end of the timewalk, Death knight players earn an achievement that award then with [Arsenal: Frostmourne hungers]. that gives us Frostmourne 2H and 1h appearance to transmog.

This was already done before. Demon hunter players would get Arsenal: The Warglaives of Azzinoth if they defeat Ilidan in a timewalking.

Death knight is a Hero class too, throw us a bone! After the toothpicks of the fallen prince and the sword going to Diablo, we deserve it.

(please don’t come here saying the sword is destroyed, we know it, this is a appearance from a timewalk, just like the warglaives, we also have Sargeras sword as appearance, so its fine and its not lore breaking)

Honestly, I don’t see why not.

At this point we have the weapon of the Jailer, which was the Lich King’s master.

If we can have the weapon of the master, why not have the weapon of the minion too?

Actually we have Aggramar’s sword. Sargeras’s sword is made from the missing part we don’t have.

We do have his sword with other names:

Those two are similar but not the same.

If you consider these the same sword then the Blades of the Fallen Prince are the same as Frostmourne

Its a replica.

It cant be the same cuz it is currently in the ground, and it is gigantic.

This doesn’t even hold up with your own argument, cause the toothpicks of the fallen prince aren’t similar like these swords are.

And again, we do have other weapons that logically we shouldn’t, like The jailer mace, or how DH got the azzinoth blades trough a timewalk, so this isn’t any different

And has a giant hole in the hilt.

And is made of bone instead of metal.

And is jagged along the entire edge.

And is very much not these swords.

I’m not arguing we shouldn’t get Frostmourne. I couldn’t care less either way.

I’m arguing we do not have Sargeras’s sword.

I have a theory about it:

The replica has a jewel where the OG sword has a hole.

Maybe the OG sword used to have a jewel there, and this jewel will be important eventually.

So this one still have a crystal/gem instead a hole, all right i guess?

How do you know what these swords are made off? nowhere is stated they are made of metal.

Its not:

Its very much these swords. you must be trying to meme here.

Its the same sword, the only difference is the orb instead of the hole with magic swirling around.

Paladins also got true Ashbringer. Doubt they’ll give us Frostmourne though, they’ve dug their heels in too long for our feedback to matter at this point.

If you do the DK artifact challenge in Legion you will get Frostmourne.

You dont. Dunno whats the meme here is

I don’t think it’s necessary to specify that this refers to Frostmourne’s original appearance.

Yes, Blades of the Fallen Prince were created from the remains of Frostmourne, but they are NOT Frostmourne, what we’re looking for here is the original appearance.

That doesn’t mean we should rip Frostmourne and all of its Domination magic out of the timeways.

Your account had to collect the sill existing Warglaives of Azzinoth to get the appearance.

And those weapons were never destroyed. Also, the Timewalking portion has nothing to do with lore. It’s just an achievement so that the Warglaives were DH only for transmog.

Easy, if you have the Blades of the Fallen Prince, you can get the exclusive Frostmourne transmog for your DK, it’s the same as the Azzinoth ones.

It isn’t. Like… at all.

What’s the problem with us getting the original versions of the swords we have?

I mean, they argue that the BotFP are Frostmourne, but they don’t want us to get their original appearance?

This has been explained seven billion times. Frostmourne was destroyed. Shards were cleansed and turned into powerful blades that were then drained dry to stop the corruption of Sargeras’ sword. There is no more Frostmourne and Domination magic is pretty much gone.

No Bronze dragon, nor the Primus, etc. is going to be okay with us yanking Frostmourne out of the timelines to continue the Domination corruption.

Correct. See above.

Why does it have to be the real sword and not a replica? A simple appareance that has no powers.

Okay, let’s not take the real Frostmourne from an alternate timeline, but nothing can stop us from creating a non-powered replica of it, one that’s aesthetically pleasing and doesn’t even exist in the lore, it’s simply something in-game that the DK player can obtain.

I personally don’t see a problem with this, we’ve obtained weapons that have had as much or more history than Frostmourne, and there haven’t been any problems, Frostmourne is destroyed, and its remains were given to the player in the form of two twin swords, why can’t we also choose to have the original version, even if it’s a non-powered replica?

We already have runeblades that are somewhat close to Frostmourne. Those don’t seem to be good enough for people.

Why would we want to, though?

It represents the enslavement of the undead, the raising of dominated minds, the imprisonment of souls, the torment of others.

Blizzard could have given Frostmourne back in Legion. They didn’t for a reason. My assumption is because that iconic blade holds a very horrible past and one that no one wants to celebrate. But I don’t know for certain. Their decisions are pretty clear, though.
