When in the history of wow have mages never been taken in raid? Time warp isn’t the only thing they bring. They have intellect.
I know for sure I am going to play one, but only because I like dragon lore and because I have a name already reserved. But probably not play it in end game content.
I’m looking forward to seeing what the raids are like in DF… I may want to raid again. I was not inspired during SL. Rather than main an Evoker I amthinking of maining my warrior and letting my monk meditate for a bit.
I have mine ready with name reserved and will likely sideline my DK as an m+ only tank (do like 4 dungeons a week for gear).
Will really depend on trinkets etc.
Evoker over mage any day, have a hunter or something else for hero. They are mage 2.0.
You can already see some of these.
I wont bother looking at much for the dragonflight alpha/beta till its much closer atm looking at wrath classic and then once p1 is on farm will check in on dragonflight updates as it will probably be prepatch.
As a tank dk sometimes my best trinkets are from the raid so I will need to look into it, but will be nice to just be able to itemise pure tank instead of having a frost set as well
Why,thank you for the encouragement now i feel even worse.gg.
I mean at least with Evokers it kind of makes sense? They do use chronomancy so it would absolutely make sense to give them a Time Warp style spell.
I’m just being honest. Mages suffer from either overpowered or underpowered specs and never in between. And while you have a cast time, your cast time leads up to the same amount of damage. An evoker doing a much longer cast time like mages means they charged it up for even more damage…they are factually better in everyway but timewarp.
Then give it to them and I’ll for now on wouldn’t use it. First shamans now evokers ,the only spec in our class they haven’t used is frost what does blizz want us mages to turn to playing now. Just do it .
Just to be clear, Shamans have lost abilities (gust of wind) because of Blink and had their group utility pruned and one of the last unique ones (lust) given to Mages as well.
Shamans have been getting the raw end of the deal between them and Mages. Thankfully Dragontails is rectifying that.
Mages will still probably have a superior DPS spec (rightfully so) and immunities. Not to mention the fact that the tree isn’t out yet and Mages already give an int buff that has been wanted whenever it has existed. Mages are not suffering because of Shamans, you do not get to stand on the same pedestal as Demo locks do with DHs.
You forgot hunters have hero on their ferocity pet too.
Shamans had lust before mages.
Just take it away I’m done fighting for it ,you won just get rid of mages and alliance ,humans just do it.
