No just find a way to make druids dps more based on shapeshifting. Like spend all mana on damage spells swap to cat form and do damage until mana recharges then caster form again dpsing. The class should keep it’s special way of playing rather than staying in cat form 24/7.
Why take away what made the class special. Not turn it into another rogue.

+1 for chance on hit weapons working while in animal forms
There’s a decent chunk of 2h hammers/maces that pretty much no one wants that would be going to a good home.

No thanks, I’m actually looking forward to leveling as balance for once with the 100% mana reduction rune for wrath, I don’t want to spam claw/mangle on another druid again or have to switch forms for optimization, that sounds exhausting.

Since no one plays Druid they probably aren’t even aware this was a thing in classic that really limits druid weapon selection to boring procless stat sticks.

Because druids are not rogues or warriors? Why not just play those classes? The most unique playstyle of the druid is shapeshifting. You don’t want to be a shapeshifter what gives? Just play rogue.

It’s time for druids to rise up and start proccing like the rest of them.
You’d have to entirely re-design the class and talent trees to make the playstyle you’re suggesting not garbage. Currently the rate of mana regeneration and the way melee scales vs. spells scale makes this the worst possible idea.
Give it time guys, evolution is a very long process. We can’t be more than a few tens of thousands of years away from bears getting opposable thumbs. It’s coming, just have patience.
They need to make feral/bear scale off of weapon dmg. And remove MCP from the game, remove the helmet from the game. Create a rune that does those functions instead and open those gear slots for feral
