Please, no one likes constantly having to put your cursor on top of the mobs. You already gave shamans this tech on earthquake so clearly its something thats possible to do.
Meteor too please!!
I am using the mouseover macro for flamestrike but it does NOT work all the time!! Depending on how you are standing, at what level compared to target, terrain, etc., the macro might not work. I have noticed this a lot lately in Dawnbreaker. I will be standing on what appears to be flat floor decking. If I stand on one of those boards, the macro doesn’t work. If you try to do it on stairs, it sometimes doesn’t work. Lots of LOS issues!
There was a bug a while ago that let you make a macro to cast reticle spells on your target. It was so nice!
All they need to do we enable
/cast [@target] Flame strike
Macros.
I remember they “fixed” it so fast I got whiplash. Game breaking bugs they leave in for months at a time but this they were all over like white on rice. I genuinely don’t understand why they’re so resistant to do it. Autocasting reticle abilities directly on the target has been the default option in other games for over a decade, it makes absolutely no sense.
They want “skill shots” to be in the game, probably specifically for pvp.
Think hunter traps in pvp.
However, flame strike is a spell you cast quite often and it gets annoying that it isn’t targeted.
This doesn’t make sense as they have made other reticle aoes on target
Blizzard and Flamestrike should be on target. Its to clunky the way it is now on roation
