Like how threads of fate has 2 choices. Make it like
Option 1: I’m a mad man and I want to regrind all the anima, souls, campaign, and soul ash
Option 2: I just want to play a new class and have fun. Get all 197 gear and a 190 legendary

I disagree with the legendary, especially given the fact that you can now run any layer so long as you unlocked it on your main, and I believe you get enough between that and the Bolvar quest to make your first if you can run that top layer. I also think legendaries should still take some effort.
However, I do wish there were check points in Renown that alts could now reach, especially since World Quest item level upgrades are locked behind that so gearing is a slow and painful process. And getting 40 Renown now is going to be exhausting.
One option I would personally like is if you’ve done the story for one Covenant, you can skip the story for any character you add to that Covenant after.
So you just want stuff handed to you.
Nope.
Getting all that stuff comes from
PLAYING THE GAME
Better version:
Make anima and renown account wide.
Now your alt has better WQ rewards unlocked and can spend banked anima to upgrade/buy covenant gear.
I want an option where Threads of Fate introduces me to my Covenant of choice, including where the dang Anima Reservoir is!! I’m looking at you, underground Night Fae… anima… thing…
It’s honestly not that bad, I got my shaman to 60 I think week before last? and she’s already up to 27 or so just from Callings, World Boss, and a couple dungeons. And I haven’t even had the energy to finish the NF storyline again on her.
Yeaaaah that’d be nice. Along with the oft-requested Maw Skip.
and I got called entitled for wanting to skip the maw intro… sheesh…
That’s good to hear. A friend of mine in our raid swapped Covenants and no matter what he did (he ran Heroic and M+ a lot each week) he got hard stopped at a Renown level for two or three weeks and it made him miserable and regret swapping.
I have so many characters to get through the Maw and I just…do not want. This would be so nice.
But I mean… that’s basically how it works now already…
On a fresh 60 you can have 197 in most if not all slots within a few days. Complete the convenant campaign, fill in the gaps with honor gear, and drill through the torghast intro and campaign quests to get the legendary.
It’s so fast and easy that some people are even complaining that it’s too easy…
I’m still 1000 anima short of finishing my mushroom network even though I prioritized it because the terrain is so horrible.
Lmao that’s just lazy! You don’t get stuff for free!
They for pvp are being carried by friends in arena or really lucky on the pops with a player who is good. BG’s are luck of the draw as well.
Last night for example was a good night for me. VE hunter ran like 5 bgs for the weekly up now. I won 3, lost 2.
That…is not normal luck. My win/loss rate in normal Bg is horrendous. LIke 0/5 to the point I stopped doing them for a while. I went there going we will lose but if just get 250 a loss…I get the 1500 in 2/3 days of self abuse here. 3 wins was not expected at all.
Epics are hit and miss. Isles if all agree to hangar or even docks and carry that out…can be a win. When the doors come up and it splits up and no one takes refinery or quarry…you best farm kills for honor. Because that match is going straight to loss-ville.
And you ahve this cahr. Let me tell of an ashran that would rate a cool story bro…but it actually happened. I wish I was making this up.
The match is now 10 to 1, alliance up. All the npc crap dead (mages, ogre). We literally have to kill one more horde and its a win.
the match ended 0 to 1. We…were the 0. Idiots rushed in to be wiped, horde healers healers healed like pro’s and horde killed 10 of us not losing 1 person in the process.
