To really get people in classic to give it a try before they decide to seal the deal and it would be good for the game.

It’s already included with your existing subscription at no extra charge. No need to give free game time as an incentive. Those that want to play Classic would play it regardless.

My sub is currently inactive and i don’t wan’t to resub untill i try it out first.

Maybe after the initial population drop. Doing that right at the start would make a frustrating situation worse.

Im sorry but $15 in this day and age is not much money. I could pull that out of the change cup in my center console in my car.

I got 30 free just for subbing and selling some old items on the retail AH.

I have to agree here.

With the launch already being stressed enough we don’t need a bunch of “trial” accounts, that aren’t dedicated enough to sub, congesting the queues even more.

Want to try WoW ? you can play the live game up to level 20 on what some call the ‘retail’ version.
Want to play Classic, pony up the sub.

They’re not going to do that at launch but I wouldn’t be surprised if they open up the Starter Edition (i.e., free access with content restrictions) to Classic at some point after launch once the populations return to normal.

all you need to play classic is a sub, you dont need to own anything past the starter edition tbh

How is it that your sub is inactive but you’re commenting on the forums? Last I checked you couldn’t comment without being subscribed.

That’s never worked properly. People have been on the forums since it opened on the new format, without a sub. I think at some point they just stopped enforcing it, or removed the restriction altogether.

Im actually kind of ticked off by this thread now that I think about it. the response to the first person who answered your question is just sounds like you’re too lazy to re sub. Just dont bother coming on here if you’re not interested in playing
