For me
The distinction of each class set….
I hate that cloth, leather, plate share the same set.
Clearly cutting jobs at Blizzard has affected the design team.

Not enough green
Cutting jobs, expecting more results with less resources ruins many things.
It isn’t. I’m not on the ‘I hate everything about this’ train like so many on the forums try to be. /shrug
Pruned, unfun class design.
Sorry, I would but… My answer is timegated.
That it doesn’t feel like something Blizzard would have released.
This. Also, I dislike the sense I get from BfA that wow will soon go mobile.
Just a feeling. Not a good one.
Jumping on the “exclusivity as motivator” and pop psyche social manipulation marketing bandwagon.
I don’t agree with emotionally manipulating people into hyper-agression and obsessive competition just because it can be argued to sell more impulse buys in the short term.
Especially when it can also be shown to TOTALLY DESTROY the community and fabric of the game which absolutely affects future profits in the long term. You would think they would learn that by now. /shrug
I am absolutely against the affect it has on the social fabric of our society at large when corporations are allowed to perpetrate that sort of divisive, predatory and abusive practice.
To be fair Blizzard is the lesser offender in this, but there have been signs of it worsening. It is like a lot of the “investors” are the same from one game to the next and all pushing for the same fad of the moment being rubber-stamped at clown business college or whatever factory is churning out this toxic and regressive mindset.
Azerite.

The amount of activision that is present is ruining everything.
Almost everything.

The current class set designs are a huge one… absolute $&@# for the most part.
So my reason is the time gated bs and the rep grind. My god unlocking maghar and dark iron was the worst crap I’ve had to do on this game since vanilla, and when I finally unlock them… what a waste of time.
Hm.
It’s not, and I don’t believe the hyperbole.
This expansion has its issues, sure… but so did every other expansion.
Gearing being completely RNG and extremely easy so much so that it means nothing anymore.
For example: Gems are RNG, Tertiary stats are RNG, item level is RNG. You can get 385 gear from darkshore warfront quest when it comes up, darkshore warfront world boss and 370 gear from stromgarde.
You can literally get mythic level gear from afkable content. I got an upgrade from the warfront quest that gave me 385 pants with a socket that replaced my 385 mythic legs.
I don’t mind having more ways to gear up or obtain gear but there’s no way content like warfronts or world bosses should be supplying mythic level loot. That’s insane.
If loot is going to be RNG and mythic level gear can be obtained through easy content such as warfronts then mythic raiding and raiding in general needs more incentives. As of now all we have is 1 achievement for clearing mythic before the tier is over.
I also dislike the azerite system and the artifact systems in general because they are a very high risk system that could make or break class design, however they already talked about this in the latest QA and said they dislike it as well so that’s good.
TLDR: BfA isn’t my least favorite but it’s close. Reasons are: Gearing being so broken and ridiculous as well as azerite/artifact systems being the Make or Break in class design.
It’s not. Not by a long shot.
We aren’t even halfway through this expansion yet. The pacing is a bit slower than Legion but nowhere near Warlords. BFA would have to find a way to do worse than Garrisons and the S.E.L.F.I.E patch, AND somehow screw up all the lore and questing along the way in order to be my least favorite.
It isn’t. That honor belongs to Cata.
It marked the end of Legion.
Blizz screwed up BfA for sure, but maybe people need to use their brain and exercise a little self control. A lot of these “predatory” practices can be totally avoided by, you know, not clicking a button.
Classes getting nothing new outside of generic azerite traits and half the stuff they used to have baseline getting shoved into honor talents that you can’t even use in dungeons/raids.
