Can we either please remove gear from loot tables that are taken up by gimmick like the cloak or belt or better yet, not do gimmick gear in the first place. Gotten soooooo many cloaks and belts on both of my characters I’m playing this season.

Where are you getting cloaks? I cannot think of a single piece of season 3 content that drops them.
As for belts, those are needed because the belt will be replaced.
The belt will not be replaced unless you get myth track gear for some specs (or they nerf it) and the 4 cloaks I’ve gotten has to be from timewalking or M+. Only content I’ve done. I know at least 2 of the cloaks were TW ulduar.
TW is not season 3 content. If you got a cloak in M+, then you should report that bug.
TW is a valid way to gear up at the moment. Uld is dropping champion gear from bosses and heroic for killing Yogg.
I can see ulduar the raid dropping cloaks as ok. Having a cloak from the Yog chest feels bad though.
And it is not season 3 content. It does not have loot adjustments to accomodate max level characters with the cloak because it is for all players between 10 (or 30 for ulduar) and 80.
Your raid cache from 5 tw dungeons/bosses will drop season 3 raid gear. Your ulduar bosses, ulduar hero item, and tw boss drops will drop items from their respective content.
TW Uld is raid content you can only do at level cap and timewalking is evergreen content. Its valid every season. The raid bosses are always reoptimized loot wise for the current season.
That’s not even remotely true, see the trinkets that are in the loot pool that do things like “lower threat from spell damage”. Nothing is changed season to season except the item level gear defaults to at max level.
You just said how its true… The item level is what matters. The various trinkets that might be out of date are irrelevant. Weapons from there are extremely good until you can get a heroic weapon.
Borrowed Power gear sucks and it should have been strangled in the crib after the ring in DF season 1 failed to impress.

I have gotten cloaks and belts from the weekly chests and events like Nightfall and the Theater troupe, so from what I’ve seen, they are dropping from S3 content.
