Do these pets even exist? I have opened hundreds of chests in Bastion and Revendreth on multiple toons. No sight of them.

Only a single Secret Treasure can drop the Burdened Soul. The one in Halls of Atonement at 66.6 42.8 that requires clicking a Flickering Candle.
Gilded Wader doesn’t exist though, I’m convinced. I have over 400 attempts logged on Rarity.

The Gilded Wader is a beehotch to get. I had initially read that it dropped from the silver strongbox, so I was only opening those. As my alts increased so did my attempts. Then I read on wowhead that it dropped from chests in different zones, so I stared opening everything every chance I got with every alt. Finally last week I got it in a hidden hoard in Bastion. So it does exist. The problem is that where you might get it and the drop rate are both mysteries.

I have seen a few gilded waders, but I dont think it drops in every chest. Get handynotes for shadowlands, i think it shows which ones.
It also drops from a certain chest or two in revendreth. I thought that was a rumor until I got it from one (again, check handynotes).
Any time revendreth or bastion chests are up, go hunt on all your 60s! Good luck
I have gotten 2 gilded waders, sold one, also got 1 burdened soul, they are out there, but I have put in a lot a time with my main and 3 alts.
The Gilded Wader does exist…I have two of them one for myself and one for to sell later on…just takes opening those chests as much as you can …I have 8 lvl 60’s to run chests.

Me too, except I only do some of them, and play only one character.
That one Character, after his 3rd Wailing Caverns run, DID find a Ever-Living Spore in his bags, and when he did, he thought “About time!” LoL!
Grats on the priceless gift. I had no Idea they were/are so rare.

I see them on my server group AH so yeah, someone out there literally looted a chest in Bastion and Revendreth and won themselves one of the rarest pets in the game, and somehow realized the value so they threw it up on the AH at crazy high prices.
Gilded Wader continues to elude this belf.
I have been looking for the Burdened Soul since day one. I no longer believe it exists.

It’s only present in a single secret treasure, and that one hasn’t been up for ~2 months.
It has a decently high drop rate from that treasure when it is up though, from what I’ve seen.

I have looted that treasure five times now–FIVE!!
Ha ha. The game’s RNG hates me.
It really is almost NEVER up.

Does anyone know if Burdened Soul (and Tomb Burster’s pet) drops for non-60s? I seem to remember that some loot (mounts maybe?) was restricted to level 60 players only?
Tomb Burster yes. The treasures, no. Treasures can only be seen by 60s.
