Why do we still have a cap on these crests? How Blizzard are you gonna give us the ability to increase ilvl on our gear but not allow us to farm the currency needed to do so??

Crest cap is gone October 21st.
I probably won’t even be touching retail end game content besides raid logging for alt runs until the crest cap is gone. I’m sitting on the cap of every crest so I’m going to have a lot of gilded crests through upgrading the crests come the 21st. No reason to continue farming them.
Right. I do not understand Blizzard’s logic here, why not just remove the cap now? Nothing left to do in the game except have fun, keeping the cap for another 2 WEEKS is absolute doo doo
Indeed… why wait for the 12% raid buff either (just got the 9% buff this week)?
They love their time-gating because people with lots of time will get an advantage of those with more limited time to play. Apparently after 21-Oct they think “well that’s enough gating” at least on crests (other things will still be gated per business-as-usual).
It’s capped for the first twelve weeks of the season, just like the last two.
They could have done what they did last season, and not extended the tracks until turbo boost started 3 weeks after patch.
