Giga Casual... How can I do the MOP Timewalking raid *Why no LFR?*

I’m super casual, I just came back to retail after quite a few years away.

I enjoy leveling alts and farming transmogs. Timewalking is great for both of these so it comprises a large portion of what I do since I returned at the anniversary event.

The highest level of content I do these days is LFR really and so I have 2 questions.

  1. Why is there no LFR for timewalking raids? (Or is there and it’s just not listed under dungeon finder/LFR and I don’t know about it?)

  2. How can I find groups for Timewalking raid, I haven’t seen any listed under premade raids TWW or Legacy, nor Custom. I really loved MOP, it was really the last time I played WOW retail as my main game and I would love to do the raids.

Thanks in advance.

  1. shrug there just isn’t.
  2. Go to the Legacy raid tab and type in the name of the raid. However, there is currently no timewalking raid for MoP. Just TBC, LK, and Cata, so you’ll have to wait until one of those events are active.

Thanks for at least confirming I’m not crazy that there isn’t a timewalking LFR.

RE: Waiting for a mop timewalking event: Isn’t MOP Timewalking active right now?

I spent all afternoon yesterday doing MOP timewalking dungeons.

Is there no raid to go along with the dungeons?

Nope. Not yet, at least. Only the xpacs I mentioned have tw raids during those events. Hopefully they’ll add more.

Mop classic coming this summer so you can at least do them there!

:stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Oh, you mean there’s literally no TW raids for any other timewalking events other than the ones you listed.

I definitely misunderstood that. Thanks for clarifying.

Also @Erikthered Too bad Classic isn’t available to transmog into retail. :frowning:

Make a group, invite people until you fill to 30 making sure to leave room for at least a couple of tanks and then go do it. The timewalking raids are not hard.

All timewalk raids are designed as organized groups, there is no automatic group creation. It is the same for BT in BC and Ulduar in WotLK.

To do timewalk raids, find friends and create or join a raid group. At least something is left in WoW which requires some social interaction…

I mean… personally I play wow to avoid people and responsibilities… In my experience, people are the worst part of wow.
