Tried all of the above; just to make sure nothing worked at this time.
I’m sorry I finally noticed I still had the damn thing after doing the removal quest.
It wasn’t obvious; zoomed out.
It offends my OCD.

I logged on and for some reason had the Gift of N’Zoth effect, though I finished the whole quest chain and gotten it removed before I faction changed.

It has to do with the faction change. That was my issue too, which they explained to me in a ticket. The only way to fix it is by opening a ticket.

Same here but on only 1 character. I’ve done the quest, tried the toy, everything and no change. Opened a ticket and basically got told by 3 different people to do the quest. Repeated that the quest is done and they again told me to do the quest. Highly disappointed in the effort to resolve this giant forehead eye.
