Gift of N'zoth Who kept it who didn't?

Hey people of Wrymrest,
I know some of you are like not another topic about the Gift of N’zoth. I really need to know something.
Who kept their gift and who removed it?
I had it removed on this toon because she already has enough whispers from the Void.
But my Horde Warlock kept it because she is constantly seeking power and see this might be her ticket to more.
Please just tell me your reason via how you Role play with or without the Gift of N’zoth.
Thank you in advance!

I still have mine, though it’s strictly OOC. I just like feeling corrupt. It’s actually really annoying in RP, though. :frowning:

I would never actually roleplay with it, I don’t think that just anyone would be offered the Gift. Seems to me that it would be something reserved for ““The Champion”” (player character).

There’s actually random commoners in Boralus that have it. You can see them if you’re wearing the Gift. It’s not just the player character, and it doesn’t seem like you even really need to be that important. You just need to be willing to serve.

Really??? That’s cool! I haven’t seen any, maybe my third eye just hasn’t fully opened yet

I haven’t seen any commoners on the Horde side wearing the Gift…hmmm Now you got me curious. I will go look around and see what I can find.

Here’s one in the foot court by the profession trainers:

There’s not any NPCs in Dazar’alor that have it. However, there’s two NPCs that say creepy dialogue if you walk past them with the Gift.

Oh yeah I seen the ones in Dazal’alor I pass by them a lot on my Horde toons.

I’ve kept it only because I don’t like making choices without knowing the outcomes of all the options. That is also partly why I didn’t take the Saurfang toy and effectively cut myself out of whatever may come later from joining Sylvanas.

I was always the kid who would cheat ahead in choose-your-own-adventure books to make sure I was taking the best path, or needing to explore every hallway in Zelda even if I had already found the one with the chest at the end.

As you can imagine, real life is one long endless screaming inside my brain while blindly groping forward.

Look, I love N’zoth as much as the next void worshiper and the little fish buff icon is adorable but a giant eyeball growing out of my head is not acceptable.

Had it for a few weeks. Then I realized Altielle is far too experienced to make a bargain like this, and definitely not desperate enough.

So at that point I was keeping it on for the sake of OOC loyalty to Lord N’zoth. And then I had to look a giant eyesore for hours each night I RPed on Altielle, who is my most common character I RP on.

Took it off, going to keep it on another character that I’m not active enough on to have to stare at constantly.

I actually had mine removed. Wasnt really feeling the perma transmog helm lol But I chose to have it removed per the quest… but it actually won’t “go away”. It’s just stuck there… I’ve reloaded, closed the game, died, everything and It’s still on my head… I dont know what to do anymore at this point -_-

That’s the thing about the Old Gods. You think that when they offer you a deal or gift, you can just refuse it and go on with your daily life with a potential mistake averted. But the real mistake was thinking you had a choice at all!

Muahahahaha

When a being of great unknown knowledge and horror offers a deal or gift. Who are you to refuse it!?

My evil Horde Warlock kept her Gift of N’zoth. Since the Horde seems to be evil this expansion. LOL

Kept it and started hearing whispers when I logged in today. They don’t stop! It’s just continuous. Kind of cool, kind of creepy.

I actually have the same issue! Did the whole quest chain and elected to have it removed for the same reason (didn’t want it interfering with transmogs), but I still have the “gift” and can’t figure out how to make it go away. My character still has his crazy eye hat and the “blessing” on his list of active spells/buffs.

I’m thinking of submitting a ticket to Blizzard to see what the deal is.
