The pre-expansion quest started in Silithus, in front of the sword, so I imagine it’s on their mind.

In the last Titan, Sargeras will break free and finish the job - he will be the last Titan after he swings that non existent sword through Azeroth

Its amazing how Deathwing was able to change the old kingdoms with his destruction but a giant sword being struck deep into the ground had no impact around the rest of the world except silithus.

I really do wonder what you guys expect us to do with the sword. We drained it of corruption and stabilized the woonz, what more do you want us to do? Find some magical way to move a sword larger than a mountain without reopening the woonz? Its not causing any problems other than sparking endless “WHAT ABOUT THE SWORD?!?!?!?!” posts. Leave it alone.

Literally caused Azerite wounds to open up all over the world, what are you on about?

The object which may or may not be located in Silithus still has story attached to it. If it gets taken away, they have to come up with some other world-ending contrivance to play off of.

Chekov isn’t gonna touch that sword as long as the audience is sitting there gawking at it.

Lol they showed it off in the big main expansion cinematic, clearly foreshadowing about this big sword in Silithus believe it or not.

Edit: typo

And we’ve found out in the expansion that the sword caused Beledar to begin its cycles of darkening and also found out from the earthen that when the sword first hit Azeroth there were earthquakes across much of the planet.

What am I on about? I am comparing the impact it caused and the difference is quite clear.

Massive earthquakes, azerite wounds opening up all over the planet, darkening of Beledar, just because Blizz didnt remake the entire old world again doesnt mean nothing happened.

Yeah it caused a few minor ripples.
But compared to what deathwing caused. I am surprised at the difference is all.

Hopefully when the sword is removed, it will give a reason to revamp the old worlds again. Perhaps with the help of the aspects.

Thanks to that stupid sword the planet was literally dying. Like it didnt have as much visual impact(why would it when it only struck one area?) But it had a ripple effect on lore that it was the catalyst for a faction war and ultimately us going to Shadowlands and soon an effect on an a trilogy centered around the titans.
