G'huun is not an Old God, but a creation of them. To be more specific, he (it?) is a Titan construct that was accidentally spawned from experiments with Old God essence.
He's not an old god, at least, not at the same level as the others.

He's an artificially made one, he's not an official one. The Titan's got a little carried away with their research and well he ended up becoming a threat.
G'huun is basically a science experiment by the Titan keepers who basically goofed up massively and let the experiment run rampart through their lab: Uldir.
He is an Old God in the sense that he is made from the same stuff that C'thun and Yogg'saron and the rest are made of. He just wasn't directly made by the Void Lords, he's basically a less powerful experiment gone wrong (who utterly annhilated the titan puppets and devestated an entire island nation).

He wasn't created by the Void Lords, and thus is not driven by or even cares about the motivations that drive the other Old Gods, which more or less makes him a greater threat.
The other Old Gods want to corrupt the World Soul, which implies restraint on their part; if they wanted to just destroy they probably could have done it before the Titans found Azeroth.
G'huun on the other hand, literally only wants to corrupt everything and make it rot and die. He'd be a run away pandemic that would waste the world with little care or thought to the World Soul. It's the Old Gods energies just unleashed with no chill or plan, just destroy everything.
Whether one is stronger than the other, /shrug; but yea, to respond to your post directly, it's more just that he's a concentrated turd of Old God powers and his mere presence would kill the planet.
