We’re hours away from playing the latest content patch. What are you impressions of the trailer? Who’s excited for more ethereal and Venari Lore? Why don’t Void Elves have Alleria’s make up and hair looks yet?

I’m just hoping the inclusion of Shadowlands lore characters doesn’t make things weird for TWW’s story.

I actually am excited for more Ethereal and Venari lore. I was curious about them in BC, but after learning how old the race is and learning more about the Lorewalker, I’d like to learn more.
That is a good question. I like her hair actually.
I would also like to see some new hair options. It’s been awhile since some of us got any. I think I still have lingering effects for femtaur only having 4 for so long. I’d like some smaller braids mixed into Kina’s mane.

I am oddly excited for this patch. I guess because we are going someplace new. Also, due to RL stuff, I am really into escapism right now.
I like going off-world in WoW. Liked it back in TBC, liked it in Legion, hoping to like it here. Getting some big Netherstorm vibes already 
Netherstorm stood apart from the rest of the BC zones. I didn’t truly get to appreciate it as a zone till much later, as I hit cap on multiple characters before getting there and at the time, didn’t see the point of doing it. Man, I was wrong. Now it’s one of the few zones in BC I wish we got more of.

I was able to log in briefly between work tasks and start the quest chain. I also took a look at all the new transmogs in the Appearances tab and Void/ethereal characters rejoice, they’re quite
(Except the shoes. The shoes were super disappointing.

I like the Ethereal and Brokers enough. I have zero interest in Alleria.
I wonder why the shoes were so disappointing… hmm. if only there were clues in this expansion somewhere…
My banks appear untouched / safe. Thank god for that.
That said, it’s a mess of clutter now and I’m going to have to spend a dumb amount of time reorganizing it all so my brain doesn’t melt but at least it doesn’t appear I lost anything.
ETA: Playing new quests. Can’t stand the voiceovers. Hate them as much as I did in Shadowlands.
I have so much room in my bank!!! All the stuff was there, even the regents. It’s a mess now but I will deal with that later. AND I remember to put the special stuff back. It’s saving the info when I try to rename it or anything like that, but that is very minor.

Bros, the Devs hate Horde so much.
They should give you the options to draw a funny mustaches on the portraits.
I was able to get in and fix my main’s bank (it’s so organised now, if it a bit less pretty) but, man, I’m really feeling the weight of having your most relied-on addon basically be an abandoned project.
This patch borked Altoholic (like usual) but apparently it’s only really being updated by non-author volunteers now, so I’m waiting patiently in the discord channel for someone to make it usable again. I haven’t even wanted to do anything else in-game because it just feels unmooring.
Might I suggest AltVault? I gave up on altoholic awhile ago. AltVault gives me everything I want. Regularly updated. I’m not sure if you’re looking for more than what it offers, but it certainly takes care of “Where is that thing I know I have?”.

Someone yesterday said “reminds me of Outlands” in the new zone and I couldn’t get it out of my head that it’s a blue outlands. Ethereal, check, destroyed civilization, check, far away world from Azeroth, check, domes protecting small pockets of life, check.
Nope. Totally different. There are BROKERS.
Just kidding, yes it totally reminds me off Outlands. There are mana forges and mana conduits tubes, and everyone seems a little shady.
