We know the tombstones memorialize fallen heroes. But I think the ghosts are a memory of conquering heroes. I helped a friend out with multiple runs of a delve last night that I don’t “think” I have died in and yet my memory was wondering around

I think you can show up even without dying as well as the memory
Cuz I found myself once and I hadn’t died in any delves

I like this new system. Its pretty funny. And I have to say after running fungal folly… I had no idea this many people died to spores!

That pretty much confirms it. I have had some spectacular deaths in some of the delves but I don’t think I have died in the new one and my memory was there. So we can celebrate with others on their victories and mourn with others on their deaths
