I just headcanon it as the player character being some sort of Chosen of Azeroth that allows them this multi-dimensional perception ability, but the average Azerothian isn’t going to be able to know this
There’s a bit in Manaforge where they reference souls lost in the void being transformed into Shadowguard by Soulbinder Naazindhri.
Maybe it all does it together somewhere but idk. Lotta souls seem to get lost on the way to Shadowlands which ya know, good for them they lucked out.
My old joke about SL dead/soul/ghost lore is DH’s make out real good.
The twisting nether is looking to be a much better place to go to when they die. Its sounding much better than being a soul uber for the rest of eternity. Bastion works their people harder than Jeff Bezos works his.
Jeff…has labor laws to deal with is why. There are no labor laws in bastion. And it shows.
Not to say I don’t think Jeff would not like to wipe minds to get more to forget what labor laws are. its more he can’t do it legally. Yet anyway…
Weird how being stuck as a ghost in Azeroth for all eternity might be preferable to being funneled into one of the dumb shadowlands afterlives.
