Ghostly strike as a capstone

shouldn’t be a little stronger?
Instead of a buff on target, it should be a buff on you.

Heck, it’d be nice to have it baked into the kit.

Or, Blade Rush. Blade Rush is VERY Outlaw-ish. You literally do a charging slash. Kinda feels like that should just be something we can do without a talent. Maybe most GS up to replace BR and come up with a new capstone.

Outlaw has too many talents to make it function which means you have less choice of optional talents. Other specs have more leeway with optional talents to work with.

Biggest roadbloack when it comes to Outlaw’'s choice in talents is due to the RTB talents Loaded Dice and Count the Odds. To a lesser extent the Blade Flurry talents.

Both the RTB and Blade Flurry talents exist to make them less bad which feels bad. And we all know that the energy talents also are requirements or else the spec tanks and no matter how much haste you stack it feels bad to be energy starved.

Either or, it’s not too terrible of an inconvenience as a debuff.

The only thing I don’t like about Ghostly Strike is that it’s a generic damage modifier. It’s not very creative, nor does it really help Outlaw’s main issue of being a pure physical damage build.

What I would like Ghostly Strike to do is completely ignore armor and amp Outlaw specific abilities.

That’s why I don’t bother with it, too long of a cooldown for what it is.
It’s basically Colossus smash by another name, only with an obnoxious cooldown.
Pass.

You just described 60% of Retail.

I thought first about Classic Ghostly Strike, and how this Outlaw version is nothing like that Subtlety talent…

Gotta wonder how class design got to this point.
