After collecting the blue prints and then starting the shipyard

I now can not purchase the ghostly spyglass, it says I need the blue print

When i try to buy it anyway as that was a possible fix it just tells me the item is locked

What can we do to fix this as I can not get the heirloom rings now without completing this

The glasses are a drop from a skeleton in a cave…

Old post but I was stuck on the same issue.

There’s a questline given by the Tauren shipyard foreman - Rolosh Wavechaser.

You need to complete the quest A True Naval Commander.

After you do this quest, you can buy the Ghostly Spyglass.
