Imma be honest: people HATED him at the time to the point where what people say to and about Ion looks like child’s play by comparison.

I miss him as when he did balance roundtables, or class balance changes, he gave a whole article on why and why something didnt work. That’s good patch notes.
Anybody whos all “NYURRR GHOSTCRAWLER SUCKS” is stuck in the past as he very much did make old WoW enjoyable.

Man Ghostcrawler wishes people treat him back then like how most treat Ion right now, he was hated with big passion.
Hell i even remember some death threats to him in the forums, people wishing him cancer.
His balancing was trash and biased.
He’s only memorable if you played the classes he favored and pushed.
Honestly,i don’t know him enough to draw an opinion on him,I only know him as a dev. that is it.
WoW players in this day and age wouldn’t be able to handle him, they’d be screaming for him to be fired because he’d hurt their feelings.

They did exactly this when he was a dev, nothing to do with this day and age.
Yeah. The story went downhill after he left.
Times have definitely changed in the last 10 years. People are much more offended now.

Ion is the face right now so everything is Ion’s fault, when the next person takes over everything will be their fault.
if Ion ever leaves people will praise him like they do everyone else of the past.
I really hope this isn’t another Blizzcon revelation.

Do you think that people are more offended now or do you think that society bends to people being offended now? You could be offended 10 years ago too but guess what? No one cares 
No one cares now either but you can get your way if you cry hard enough and use the right wording so people take advantage of it
