Agree…though it wasn’t one announcement. It was the entire way it was handled. “Flip a switch,” “first patch,” “never,” third part site holiday weekend news dumps, etc. The arrogance and dismissiveness from the team about people voicing their issues with the situation, and trotting out the “vision” catchphrase.

I won’t refute this, because I don’t disagree with it.

6.1 had…twitter and selfies. “THE BIGGEST PATCH EVER!” They were mocked so hard for it they even had to walk that one back.

It wasn’t just Shattrath that was removed…it was a whole host of content: karabor, bladespire, netherstorm, movable garrisons, no new pvp content aside form the raging dumpster fire that was trashcan, the list goes on.

Capital cities and movable garrisons are not “content.” Farahlon, however, was - and I am still rather upset about that one. Ashran was great if you had a guild too, btw. I got over 80000 HKs there alone, and my Warlord of Draenor and its subtitles.

The same content drought we were promised would never happen again because “THE BIGGEST DEV TEAM EVER” was “WORKING ON THE BIGGES XPAC EVER”…we got wod, a glorified patch that took out more than it put into the game.

Yeah, internal issues are rough for a company. But you could still see the raw passion that went into what we did get.

If you want to know legion’s faults, which are…well, legion, take a stroll around the archived test forums for everything that they warned about that wound up going live anyway. It’s a good start. Beyond that, if you don’t remember the issues with legion…I don’t know what to tell you. It wasn’t just the legendaries, not by a long shot.

So we had an artifact power grind, artifacts themselves, legendary acquisition, and… what else exactly? Because I did play Legion - every month of it but the first, and I’m really scratching my head wondering just what expansion you were playing after playing through WoD that you can even begin to think is substandard.
