Please do expand on how this movie is “grown up” star wars movie. I like Star Wars, I like Rian Johnson’s works, but I can’t see how Last Jedi is in any shape or form “grown up.” And I’m asking for more than a claim to “subversion” because not only was it lacking, the trilogy it replaced within the EU was way more subversive.
What’s even the point of your post again, it’s not like your sentiments haven’t been posted before nor in a different syntax. Beside calling out the hypocrisy of you statement, If the system continues to disparage players, it’s far more beneficial for them to hone in on what they are feeling about the game then to be silent. Each player experience the game differently and even with iterating the same points, they have nuanced differences in how they convey those points which gives some extra feedback.
