I’ve played Shaman multiple times in Retail, vanilla, and classic. Now in SoD. I am enjoying it, while i wait for season 4 in Dragonflight. Hope the devs see this. I’ve always thought that being in Ghostwolf form should be a stealth option. I mean you are a ghost. Fellow Shaman’s help me out on this.

…Why on earth would Ghostwolf be a stealth ability just because it’s a ghost form? Ghosts aren’t inherently invisible in WoW…
You want a stealth form that moves far faster than Rogues or Druids in stealth form? Almost half epic speed.

I don’t see the problem with this.
If it were ever implemented with stealth capabilities, it would function like camouflage spell from hunters in retail. But no I do not think there needs to be a stealth mechanic. I’d like to see iconic spells from Spirit walkers added to shamans from WC3 instead of stealth ghost wolf form.

Look, I love you guys, but an instant cast 40% move speed stealth shaman is gonna get a big no from me lol
I could see doing it where you were invisible, but also couldn’t see people who were outside of the spirit realm thing you’ve now entered. So you couldn’t use it to just pop out and wreck people since you wouldn’t be able to see anyone else (other than other ghostly Shaman). Could also make it so detect invisibility let people see it, but if they had detect invisibility up you could also see them.
Maybe a skill book that makes normal GW instant cast for QoL and gives you a second GW casted ability that you can only cast out of combat that shifts you into the astral plane.

I’d rather they rework each class talent tree to fit in with the new runes and abilities than changing something like this unnecessarily.
I just wish I could use it in “indoor” areas that are actually still outdoors. Or you know. Let me ghost wolf anywhere.
It’s not instant cast. It has a 3 second cast time that can be brought down to 1 second by investing talent points.

Yeah! It freaks out if you walk on steps or other random stuff which are completely outdoors. I’ve learned where to avoid stepping while running around outside in Thunder Bluff so I don’t get de-wolfed.

Maybe not stealth, but it should def be used while dead. I mean ghost is in the name
They should add collision detection in a pvp mini game and let ghost wolf pass through people.
