Sure, Shaman can have 3 different Ghost Wolf forms, but that’s nothing compared to what Druids get for both Cat and Bear forms. When it comes down to it, they’re all just recolors of the same form.
So, with that in mind, I suggest that there be a Ghost Corgi form added to the options. Upside: Everyone loves Corgis.
Downside: None.
Also, it would give Scribes a consistent source of income, and be the first glyphe in 10 years that people actually want.
I second this with no bias at all.
Aside, last night I got first place in the Trial of Style on my Dracthyr Envoker in Dracthyr form. It can be done, huge odds can be overcome! Passing on some PMA.
So you are not asking for an update, you are asking for more forms.
Might want to change your title.
I was confused by this so I did some research and found four different forms:
Ghost Wolf (original)/Spectral Wolf (recolored blueish)
Spectral Vulpine (fox)
Spectral Raptor (dino)
Spectral Lupine (stylized fox, I think; definitely different)
And all four of the spectral forms are all the same blueish color.
Are there more colors?
(Is there orange? It is my dwarf shaman’s favorite color.)
I don’t.
They are a travesty of a dog should be. Humans have bred a lot of cruel forms of dogs but that one has to be the worse. None of them will last a year after their owners are eaten in the zombie apocalypse… although they will make a tasty snack for some real dogs.
And, personally, if Blizzard is going to add more forms I would like a feline, preferably a spectral saber.
And what would that be?
I automatically thought of their racial mounts but they are all mechanical.
Given their antecedents, a rock elemental would fit but I don’t think it is as ‘cool’ as a wolf.
Wow, that is impressive!
for you!!!
It’s too bad they don’t have signatures here because that would make a excellent one!
It’s a stylized wolf.
I’d really like to see differing colours too. A fiery red, ghostly green, and even a watery version.
As for shape, maybe a Wolpertinger?
I think the ghost fox form is good enough for Vulpera shaman.
At least you guys have something that matches… unlike… my poor Goblin.
Though wait… Vulpera should also get an ghost alpaca option.
Dammit, just put different shaman forms into the barbershop like with druid and warlock!
And while you’re at it, add customization for DH demon form.
Just give Shaman an ability to “tame” the spirit of an animal that they’ve killed and their travel form will be a spirit version of whatever animal they used it on.
Like hunter’s tame beast, but you’re using it on a corpse and instead of being a pet it becomes an appearance.
I think each race should have their own ghost form. We all know that the only reason it’s a wolf is the Frostwolf tribe and Blizzard is lazy. I don’t think trolls have a wolf loa so where did that come from for them?
Anyways, this is what I’ve been plugging for for years. These are just the models I would use, not colors.
I’m halfway convinced that when bad mogs win trial of style it’s because players are taking it too seriously and strategically vote for what they perceive as the “worst” choice to increase their own odds of winning.
While I agree with the thread premise, I disagree with this reasoning.
Cat and bear forms are key integral parts of their mob to mob gameplay. They literally can’t play two of their specs without them. This also means they don’t get to see their transmogs most of the time.
While I like the idea of adding a ‘glyph of spectral hyena’ to the line-up, having each race with their own ‘ghost wolf’ shape seems kinda… derivative, given their totems are already race-based, not to mention limiting.
More fun to have five or six different ones to choose from and able to switch at whim.
