Did anyone notice Ghost Wolf’s animation was changed to a much slower version? This makes the character feel slower, and looks bad because it’s sliding aggressively.
Is this a bug? Is it going to get fixed? Is there a way to have the animation as it was before? Please?

I noticed that as well. It looks waaaaaaaaaay slower. Not just the ghost wolf, but also the soul shape version.

Submit an in game bug report for it.
If it’s an intentional change, that’s a bad change. They already messed up the Swift Windsteed animation.

I’d put my money on that it’s a bug but with these
I can’t be sure.
Much needed change, for a second I forgot I wasn’t doing something in Shadowlands, that wasn’t at a snails pace.

In game report sent, please send your reports too, guys… this animation looks HORRIBLE. :X

See if there’s a post about this in the bug reports forum. You could make a thread there, too, or move this one.
I’m glad someone else has noticed this but me…
Using the flying gait speed on the ground animation looks terrible. The Windsteed is one of my longtime favorite mounts and this new ground gait drives me bonkers to watch…

Exactly, because sure there were millions of requests asking to slow down the ghost wolf animation and make it look like sludge. Even when a speed buff is added, it still runs slow. This was a markedly terrible change.

I had noticed I seemed to have slowed down for no apparent reason in druid travel form And have to pop in and out to correct it. I’m glad I wasn’t imagining it
Really hope this was not an intentional change, it does not look good.
Fixed for me as well. I just don’t understand why Blizz is spending so much time lately disrupting trivial things. Bending Covenant back pieces, changing Maw ingot and animacone quests to non shared pickups, making shields suddenly smaller than before, messing with the GW animation.
If the devs are bored, I would be very happy to provide a list of more practical things for them to work on…
